From CEE Kurtis school I know that this rood is induction hardened chrome bar. I also know that once you heat the metal up it will not be harden anymore. Now a soft bar in a cylinder is extremely dangerous thing to have as it can bend fast on maximum length and load and in worst case kill someone. In best case this bar has surface damages, is not perfectly straight and has high chance of bending, destroying head seals etc. Other possibility is that it was not heated high enough and now that bar contains micro fractures that have potential to break the bar under load. Also their eye method of checking if the bar is straight is just... Ill say there is a reason why bent bars go straight to recycling bean or at least are sent back to chroming. I usually do not write comments but this vide looked like insult to the craft and is a guide of everything you should not do

осталось голову выпрямить тому кто согнул, иначе придётся каждый день ровнять, хотя о чём это я, там контргайка такая забитая зубилом, видать каждую неделю раскручивают ровняют)), у них видимо договорённость что бы без работы не остались.

Amazing, at 34:00 the guy meticulously cleans ALL surfaces with a cloth that he throws on the ground, not once but every time after he cleans any surface... its a wonderful business model, guaranteed return of components for overhaul.

Amazing skills, excellent results from basic equipment. I used to think I had done well when I straightened bent fork tubes from crashed motor cycles !. Very similar work too.

Was the fire at the beginning to anneal it so it could be bent? If so, why didn't they re-temper it?

The skill set is absolutely awesome but I don't see this stuff working for long periods of time. Just like the other channels were you watch them rebuild diesel engines in the dirt. It'll work for a while but not like it's intended. But it doesn't matter to these folks because labor is cheap.

So the tank at 28-29 minutes is for chrome plating after the polishing? I see at 31 minutes they lay a flat plate on top of the ring and the solution begins to bubble afterward. Looks like a helluva power supply. At least they wrap it up for shipping at the end.

To bad they messed up the temper on the metal this thing is not going to last long when you heat something up yes you can bend it back. Why you ask because you made the metal soft and it will stay soft until you temper it back correctly. I know this is just for RU-vid because the first time that thing is used it’s going to be right back there needing to be redone!

I do not think those cylinders will be as strong as before they got bent. Cooking them over a fire will ruin the temper of the cylinder.

There's something seriously wrong with any country that sets up and continues to operate a system where the people live and work like this. It's either embedded into the type of government they have or the religion that controls the people or a combination of both. In either case it's sad to see such a backward country like this exposing the people to hazards of potential serious injury and death which must be happening at an incredible rate.
