Hydraulic Issues with the Draper Reel 

As someone who’s had a class a license for over 20 years and owns a few trucks, I must say I am tickled to see someone using the clutch! I was told by an old timer “ god put the clutch there for a reason!” Keep up the good work girl you’re doing great!

Grace I just ran across your channel and after watching your video I subscribed. May I say you are a very beautiful young lady. You handled that truck very impressive. I have always thought that a woman can do anything just as good as a man sometimes better if she wants to. The only thing holding you back is you. It was nice to see you with your nails not afraid to get dirty or worried about breaking one. I really enjoyed watching a young lady as you farming. It is cool to see videos from you again. I feel like I am learning stuff from them and I thank you for that. As far as your absence goes I know that you're busy doing other stuff and I just figured that during the time that you were away that obviously you tube videos were not a priority and so be it contrary to what some people think there is more important things in life than making videos for allll of your different outlets no biggie to me. I'll most likely continue to enjoy the videos that you do puy out whenever that might be. Anyways I'm not a farmer but I am a trucker and I would imagine that like the type of trucking that I do there are some places that allow you to do certain things when it comes to being at their place that others that are similar won't let you do. So when it comes to grain elevators I can see how some would do the unloading for you and some will have you do it. I got to being curious when the truck didn't feel like starting right up how often do you guys change or at least clean the air filters on your equipment and trucks? I bet it's probably a lot more often than I have to have done to my truck because of the dustier environment that your equipment and trucks live in. Glad you are back Grayce. You should hold the clutch down when starting that truck. 1 reason is SAFETY, the other reason is it takes a lot of effort to turn those transmission gears with the starter.

I am glad your back Grace missed you and hay if your ever bored during the winter and looking for content I remember one of your videos you did a tour of your farm and I( saw an old massy combine that now longer got used. have you ever thought about doing a series of restore videos on it during the winter I am in lots of channels where guys find old trucks and cars and sometimes farm equipment and they get lots of followers doing that

Looked to be a great day to be out in the field. My stepdad drove a Mack truck 60 years. Started hauling milk from dairy farms. Then Cargill salt for roads.

If the seals in that left side ram were leaking oil would be coming out the breather plug, your problem might be in the ram on the right hand side. The lift rams are in series, oil pushed into the bottom of right hand side ram forces oil out the top hose which then sends the oil across to the left hand side.

We always have unload our own trucks, but when we use a 5-ton there is someone there to shovel out the corners for us. Would be weird sitting in the truck having someone else open the chutes etc, at least to me. Those reel cylinders are easy to repair, I always have a spare though, but it's always the wrong one that leaks. (wrong one as the spare) :) Usually just need 2-3 "O" rings to replace to get them working again unless something really bad happens. Lucky you don't need a CDL for the trucks down south. Here it's like getting an aircraft license just to run to the elevator or yard and back now. Very difficult to find qualified drivers nowadays. Have fun; there's no other life like it!

Young Lady your doing a fine job and explaining it the best you know how. Regarding sunglasses, I'm older than your father and I still drive semi, I have sunglass's in case's in every vehicle I drive, hence I won't forget them. I also have a backpack with me at all times in case I have to switch trucks.

Try dragging a chain, that'll reduce static electricity and the windows won't have as much dust that'll stick to them. Love your videos! Your dad must be proud of you you're very good around the equipment.

I could listen to you explain master/ slave cylinders all day. Also I watched another farmer use a large mop type brush to clean the combine widows without using cleaner or paper towels. Sorry I don't remember the brand. Nice job driving the semi. Real pro.

Here in North Dakota, everywhere you go you pretty much unload yourself. There are few places where they'll unload you. But they're mostly just doing that to be nice and keep the line moving.
