Do they make a air floor for it. If so it would be worth buying one. I just purchased the same boat yesterday. Today my Newport wheels arrived and I installed them .With the five Hp Honda easy to wheel. If anybody knows where I can buy a air floor. These are supplied by best ways but cannot find much information.
Just finished assembling mine for the first time this year. Not hard to do until you have to put the side rails on the floor boards. It's always a pain and kills my thumbs. I was thinking, why hasn't someone made a tool too help twist them onto the floor. Then it hit me, I used soft jaw channellocks, also known as cannon plug pliers. The soft jaws leave no marks on the aluminum, and it is easy to place them where the boards meet and then twist into place. If you can't get soft jaws, use standard channellocks with a lot of tape on the jaws. Should of thought of this years ago.
It's a great boat, took mine out 3 times now. The first time I took it out and assembled/ inflated it on the spot. It's not that hard to do but it takes some time and nobody has time for that. I now keep it inflated and it slides right onto the roof of my jeep, works perfect with a 9.9. You get those rod holders? I dunno whether to go glue on or seat clamp but I dont wanna lose any seat space.
Just looked at the message sorry,i bolted on my eat,u do loose space but i also like the ones u glue...and watever its worth i took the seats out and iits been more confortable to just drive it on the side of the pantoon, then i set up a campinng chair in it works great for me and the wife
Thanks for the video. I also bought one but recently lost my benches. Do u mind to let me know the size (length and width) for the bench? Want to buy a replace online. Thanks so much.
It will push it around for a lake,i started with a 6hp johnson, which for lakes its perfect .but here in the sound in wa i up graded to a 15hp because of the large body of waters and it plane it in no time at all...i could not plane it it with my 6hp
@@villegas59chevy53 ... thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned that I'm talking about an electric trolling motor. Apples and oranges when comparing electric and gas.
@@villegas59chevy53 ... Thanks Gas. I'll just be using it in Lake Tahoe. So now I see on Amazon they have 4stroke, 4hp little gas motors for around $400. I wonder how a 4hp gas compares to a 38lbs thrust electric. They call the 4hp motor an inflatable fishing boat engine. Sounds interesting.
