Attention please 🙏 After Dog bite - 1st wash the wound thoroughly with tap water and a lot of soap... 2nd go to a doctor or hospital to get Tetnus and Rabies Vaccination and follow up with 2 more doses. 3rd - watch the dog that bit you for 7 days, if the dog dies within 7 days the dog had Rabies. Else its fine not every dog is Rabid but make sure you get all 3 doses in time. In Delhi tetnus shot cost ₹50 and 1 Rabies vaccine cost 350-400. Hope the information is helpful #peace

I was once bitten by a dog. I didn't knew much about rabies and how terrifying it is but my father came in clutch and washed the wound several times and took me to hospital where I got rabies vaccine. Now seeing these videos I'm terrified that if my father didn't care much about the bite I could have been like this.

I’ve heard that it’s not that they’re necessarily afraid of the water, but that the water triggers involuntarily contractions in the throat making it impossible for them to swallow the water. Even the sound of water sloshing around in the bottle will trigger the contractions making it seem like they’re afraid of it. Is that true?

Ever since india passed that one law that prohibited the killing of strays, stray dog numbers have tripled since then and so have the rabie cases amongst stray dog populations because of the increase in hosts that can spread the virus to more and more animals. Also bats are horrible for having rabies

For anyone with MAJOR paranoia about rabies, it is mostly caught in Asia and Africa, but if you get bitten by a stray dog or unvaccinated dog, wash off the wound (or where you’ve been bit), go to the doctor and get some vaccinations. Oh yeah and bats.

This is just so heartbreaking to watch and knowing what he had to go through before this tragic disease killed him.

I got scratch by my own dog luckily I got the rabies injection under 24 hours I thanked God that I told my parents because I am just 10 years old and I am very afraid of needles

Please be careful rabies patient when at the last stage becomes aggressive and they could bite you. Use gloves for treating them, however as per his conditions, I am sorry my friend but he is gonna die. May he gets moksh.

If y'all ever get bitten by an animal, whether wild or domesticated and no matter how normal it looked at the time, GO SEE A DOCTOR and tell them to check you for rabies, insist on it if for some reason they don't see it as necessary. It's so easy to help you before you fully contract it and not worth to die cause you wanted to avoid a trip to the hospital.
