Yes Sir you been one mighty busy man. Everything is looking awesome. Had no doubt that one day you would be living your dream. Awesome job done my friend. Stay safe!
Hey Randy. How are you doing my friend? Sure hope you are mending well? This farm has exceeded all my dreams. Hard work paying off for sure. Give Renee a hug for us! Chuck and Darlene
Thanks. Things are definitely changing around here. Growing exponentially! Take care Brian. It’s been a while so if I got the name wrong I apologize! Lol Chuck
Thanks. I’m really impressed with these strawberries. I’m charging 2 dollars more for a pint than other vendors and I sell out and they take lots of theirs back home. Thanks for the help
@@FensterfarmGreenhouse that 55 degrees, is that Celsius or is it Fahrenheit? If Celsius, do you have a sauna? If it’s Fahrenheit, it’s by insulation and the lack of something else, which I will not say. By the way, what is brand of strawberries you have? They look Awesome.
Hello, very interesting this little tour of the farm, and it's true that it looks like Doug and Katy's farm. For strawberries, the best substrate is a mixture of 70% coconut coir and 30% perlite. For the perlite, vermiculite mixture, do you have good results?
@@FensterfarmGreenhouse I use the 2x3 downspouts with 2" holes every 8", if I use off the shelf 2" net cups, they are just above the NFT flow. Any tips?
How hot does your hydroponic lettuce house get on a good hot day inside. Trying to set mine up and mines been getting into the low 90s to mid 90s wondering if it’s too hot. I do have good airflow. Thanks
A lot of your lettuces will not do well at those temps if they are sustained for more that an hour or so. I use an evaporative cooling system that I call a water wall. Its kind of like a really big radiator. I have a construction video somewhere a few years ago. Hope it helps? Chuck and Darlene
i built the NFT systems from scratch. The racks for the micro greens came from Costco and tables under the propagation system came from Sams Club. The white troughs for the propagation system came from American Hydroponics. Hope that helps? Chuck
Thank you. That was the idea when we built them at that height. Our backs aren't getting any younger so I try to save them at every turn. Chuck and Darlene
It is coming true. More than even I imagined. I could probably retire but I really enjoy what I do for FedEx as well and I'm really good at it. Timing is everything! Thanks for hanging with me all of these years Dave! Chuck and Darlene
