I’m convinced this is the reason why hyenas have some of the strongest jaws in the world, because whenever the parents catch something, they need to be sure it doesn’t get away, less they have to listen to This when they come back empty handed 😂
it's not the same when you're paid for this. I would never own a dog for example, because this is too much for me to take care of a dog for free (ignoring the food and vet, and damages he's doing).. However I would happily take care of dogs given a reasonable compensation. I can take care of my friends' dog for 20$ a day when they're in vacation or something
@Good Bye imagine you shot him with glock 45 b/c you thought he was gonna go gor dessert . But turns out you were hit with lightning last night and thats why you can’t feel half of your body
I love when my dog wakes me up in the morning going "ÄĒUUAJGHÚ" Edit: I know they aren’t dogs, please quit telling me they aren’t. Can I make a joke in peace guys 😔
me: oh what a cute little creature! * clicks on video* hyena: * earsplitting screech* me: * still smiling even though my eyes are tearing up from the noise*
The best part is seeing a baby heyna, the worst part is never actually seeing her fed. Edit: Correction made, now I wait for part 2 "Hyena eats HER* breakfast"
+Tracy Mason I think hyenas are fascinating creatures, but "adorable??" Ha! Take a look at this RU-vid video and then let me know how "adorable" you think they are. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QnBH2lKDC-4.html
+Tracy Mason Fairr enough, but would you want to pet this thing as an adult in the kitchen or in the wild? Rather you than me...:) "Unforgiving" an interesting choice of word, btw. That's certainly one way of putting it!
*Huh? Full grown Hynenas are just the size of dogs - and they rely on pack-strength because they aren't super deadly on their own.* *If the robber is strong enough or armed, then the Hyena is a non-threat.*
@@Princess2Warrior Are you joking? Hyenas have been seen taking down a fully grown 250+ lbs wildebeest by themselves (example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E0kNW4KQCoY.html) meaning no pack was involved. They hunt in packs because its more efficient and safer against their own predators. They can exert up to 800lbs of biting pressure which can crush elephant bone, they are very intelligent, and rarely goes up against an animal they know can hurt them. If it comes for you, it knows it can take you down. So yes this animal is VERY capable of tearing even the strongest man on earth apart. Many poachers (armed men) have met their end to the jaws of a hyena.
I think this is better than having to suffer through a social hierarchy of bullshit filled scenarios like having babies through your girl penis and barely getting any food
@@benatrix7965 Do you talk to hyenas? Bc how do you know? Yes they suffer more in the wild but thats how they are meant to live, they are not meant to be fed like babies all their life and do nothing but be petted. Easier life doesnt means happier life even for us human, go to Africa and you'll see how they are generally a lot more happy than us even tho they have nothing, materially speaking
Ok I understand but to be fair birds are not meant to be pets either and years ago dogs and cats were not either so. Pets shouldnt even naturally be a thing but us humans changed that to be our norm. Not that I don’t agree with you but just stating it’s just how our ancestors were, they weren’t supposed to keep dogs for their own gain but they did so yeah
Hyenas are from the dog family, so your comment is not funny. The other comment was funnier about it being a "dog", which is why it has more likes. Because it's true.
@@basementtunes i think they mean underrated because everyone thinks they're lowly scavengers thanks to the Lion King, when in reality they're so fierce that lions usually steal from THEM
@@eleSDSU Hyenas despite being more closely related to cats, but being even more closely related to the mustelids, has more canine like behavior and habits.
@@thejestor9378 Wow, those are extraordinary claims and I'm really interested in you demonstrating them. Firstly, let me give you some info, the Group Carnivora has 2 daughter groups Feliformia and Caniformia and you're already wrong since Mustelids and all Cannids including all Canines of course are in the group Caniformia while Hyenas are in Feliformes as Cats are but lets move on. Secondly, I don't understand your point, Hyenas are related to cats quite closely that is a fact, they are NOT more closely related to Mustelids that is just fiction and it DOESN'T have more Canine behaviours and habits, do you have any evidence to back any of this nonsense up? Lastly, what do you mean by Canines, are you talking about Cannids, are you talking about their actual teeth and the adaptations and behaviours surrounding them or are you talking about domestic dogs? You have mixed clades from different levels into an incomprehensible mess of bullshit claims.
@@eleSDSU Canid behavior is more common among hyenas than felinid behavior, also yes sorry not mustelids, as I meep forgetting that mongooses and their cousins are part of the Viverridae infraorder, which the Hyaenidae family also belongs to. But if you want to argue that Hyena’s act less like canids than they do felinids, we could have a long argument over that but I won’t cause hey, not gonna argue on it, cause I know your gonna say cause they are part of Feliformia their behavior is more felinid, even though that means literally jack all when one is doing a comparison of behaviors.
@@thejestor9378 You really need to stop assuming stuff and making baseless claims. First I didn't say they acted more like Felines, I said that you need to demonstrate that they act like Cannids. Secondly, I'll repeat it, their behaviour is *irrelevant* since genetics has conclusively placed them in the clade they are. This might help you learn how logic works. If I have a jar full of gumballs and I guess that there is an even number of gumballs in it and you say that you don't believe I'm right, that I should demonstrate it, are you saying that you believe the number of gumballs is odd? no, because both the number is even and the number is odd are positive statements and as claims they must be demonstrated while the "I don't accept that demonstrate it" answer is to withhold belief and therefore needs no demonstration nor argument in it's favor for it is not making *any* claims. Have fun with your strawmen.
1) We don't know that this animal is a pet. This animal could be (and is more likely) from a zoo or wildlife preserve. Also they're classed as exotic animals in most countries so it's likely illegal to own them as pets. 2) You honestly think that pets never bite their owners, yet you call me an idiot? Pets may not maul or savage their owners, but you're a stone cold moron if you think pets never bite their owners.
shash wolf You do realize there are a number of times that pets have eaten their owners let alone get bitten by them. Hell, Hyenas bite off their fellow hyenas' ears by accident from time to time.
The biggest reason I find animal babies cuter than human babies is that a majority of animal babies are adorable even when they cry. This little lady is no exception :)
it's because humans are genetically wired to find human babies crying annoying. it's literally forcing us to be spurred into action to respond to a crying baby's needs. if it was soothing or cute, humans would go, eh no big deal let me continue what i was doing before or I'll just listen to my baby shriek as it starves to death.
@@wukongclips9195 I assume NOTHING in today's world -and while not a complaint - just constructive criticism - it seems though, you are complaining about my complaint? Oh the irony - Just saying
If that guy was a cop, he probably could train that hyena the same way a cop would train their German shepherd and see how well that hyena does in the police force.

Aww, how cute 🥰 I've forgotten just How little hyena pups can be, and yes I agree with the other comment He would make a good alarm clock, or fire alarm. 😁👍
