I remember that when I entered this temple it was like the game was telling you "Ok you've finished your training, now it's the real thing, defeat the temples" I wasn't ready at all XD
It's the same reason why the water temple is so puzzling. Fire, forest, and water are associated with the goddesses of power, courage, and wisdom respectively. When you try to conquer these temples, you have to use the virtue of the goddess that the temple is associated with.
The first time I watched this video, I was about to fall asleep, because I was tired, when that jumpscare of one of the poe sisters scared the shit out ta me and woke me up completely. It's like, it's so relaxing and calm, but a little bit eerie, and all of a sudden a poe sister pops of like a jumpscare and scares the shit outta u.
Oh man I'd forgotten how beautifully atmospheric this temple was. It was the first adult dungeon but out of all of them it had this element that I could never name which just made me quiet. None of the other temples did that.
I really love how you can take one of my favorite Zelda songs of all time and make it so much better than I remember it to be. It just blows my mind. The Forest Temple in OoT has always been my favorite temple... But as for warp songs mine would have to be either the Serenade of Water or the Nocturne of Shadow. I have yet to listen to those ones yet. ; w;
I can imagine their discussion about their video "How can we get lot's of likes and subs"? "How about we put 2 fucking jump scares in the video for no fucking reason" "I love it! Promote this man!"
Has any one ever wandered who build the forest temple? damn place is a castle, a fortress build to defend against war. why in the middle of the lost woods? were the "lost woods" always the "lost woods"?
all people of different cultures needed a place to go to in case of war to defend themselves. the forest temple became forgotten almost over time since the lack of evil was in hyrule. it's the same as in real-life as with the days of old. when there wasn't a need for war for a long time, past temples and fortresses and hideouts became nearly forgotten.
If you look at it, it is less a temple and more of a mansion for the elite and rich. The Poe Sisters could in fact be the children of the family who owned that mansion, but due to a tragic and bloody event, the sisters where unable to pass on to the next life and instead haunted what was once their home.
I always found this song, the original, mildly relaxing. This one is too. And oh God, that laugh. Jeeez. I jumped. It was so loud. RIP Headphone Users.
No matter how amny times I listen to this, I know exactly when the poe shows up, and I brace myself, and I expect it, and it STILL makes me jump EVERY SINGLE TIME lol.
So many nightmares are coming back, this temple was evil and the music was so annoying but this version managed to scare the willies out of me! Well done!
So, after dinner last night, I was sitting at our table with my family still eating... Me: *has earbuds in and is on computer doing homework and doesn't realize this is Hylian ensemble* *poe laughs* Me: *almost jumps and is trying not to freak out in front of parents* *thinks* damn poes -.-
Well, the soundtrack used in the temple of time in Twilight princess was the original temple of time music from ocarina of time. Interesting trivia, Isn't it?
Amazing arrangement. Also: I JUST realized after all these years that this theme has the same chords as the cloud levels in Mario 3. (not the only musical similarity between that game and this game). That
this was so mean xD! I listen the quiet music of the forest temple and suddenly comes a jumpscare °xD! but really well done, I like your version of this song
ok, hate to nit pick when you didn't draw the images, but i have a few problems with them. 1: the bubbles (flaming skulls) had no wings. 2: the hub room only had one eye switch 3: the poe sisters carried lanterns, not torches. Just had to get it out of my system. Great song and the little jump scares were really fun.
i watched this since it came out i pretty much watch it every 3 months its my seasons theme and i listen to giants theme every time its my birthday and final hours every new years i stone tower when i want to build stuff. as of 7/11/2020 your finally back but this is not your job anymore but i am happy you at least you are ok and doing a little bit of new songs
I was sitting in my room with this playing. At the same time, the poe laughed, and the timer turned on the light downstairs throwing a shadow across my wall. (the lights were off) I jumped and grabbed my replica master sword off the wall and swung it at the (perceived) poe. Now i no longer have a desklamp, and i'm grounded for a month. :3
Watching it the rest of the way and as it fades out i think "this is the perfect time to.." then the Poe bastard laughs again and still making me jump. I just laugh and yell "I KNEW IT AND IT STILL GOT ME 😂😂😂"
If you are going to judge someone else at last know what you are talking about. Blue Bubbles do have wings and the 4 poe sisters carried torches reminiscent of their colour, not lanterns unlike previous poes that can be encountered in the game -__-
They did, its the Song of Time. Unless you mean the Twilight Princess temple, but in that case, He/she only does games they've played, TP not being one of them.
This music I both hated and loved. Hated beacause of the creepy and disturbing arrangement. But I loved it beacause it was fitting so well with the dungeon and beacause it was so beautifully made by moment...
Haha I fell asleep listening to this(I listen to music to go to sleep) and this is my first time listening to it and the FREAKING POE GHOST scared me!!!
Hey, hylianensemble, it's me again. Would it be alright if I used this in So Cold Zelda XXVIII? I really don't have to explain much on what I'll do, since you probably already know the drill.
Seriously, screw BOTW. I loved OoT, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. I know LoZ has it's roots in freedom of choice, but the open world aspect just doesn't feel right for LoZ in my opinion.
