And look at those attack anim, they are so good. Highlight : TEARDOWN's hand pursting from the brain-tv, the spasm of the hand during LIGHTNING along his skeleton, my gosh, so beautiful.
I know a lot of people was hating on how long it took for Hylics 2 to come out, but its so damn beautiful it really was worth the wait. All that claymation digitally scanned frame by frame alone has to take a eternity, adding the music, story, gameplay, maps, etc had to make this a hell of a chore. Plus theres some stuff in the second that looks like its doing more than what the RPG maker can do usually, so its running on something completely different or they are stretching the capabilities of RPG maker beyond what most consider possible. Truly a labor of love, and thats not just the art and music, its fun to play.
If I ever get a wish, it's to erase my knowledge and experiences of hylics so I can go back in raw once again cuz it's an experience unlike anything else
I played through the first Hylics, and liked it so much I bought Hylics 2 on Steam as well...but unfortunately all the 3D elements in this game are too much for my poor little computer to handle...unless I feel like playing through the whole game at 6 fps. At least I can watch the game here!
A message to any burgeoning Hylics 2 players: USE POOLWINNE Many people end the game with 50+ poolwine because they're deterred by the "side-effects" which aren't stated in the description. The Mania stat boost your power and will drastically while the only side-effect is that it induces sleep after you attack. You can maximize damage output by having someone charge an attack, having another party member wine them up, then go all out. Drinking coffee beforehand or having the Coffee Chip equipped negates the downside too, as well as using Fate Sandbox.
This reminds me a LOT of the Sandman issue "A Hope in Hell." The aesthetics, colors, creatures, and even the music seem to all carry the same vibe. Looks awesome!!
This would've been good. There is a game called Clayfighter (Look up for good youtube reviews about this game) and if that game ever got popular to this day until 2022. Famous stop motion characters would've been invited to the roster, plus a fun fact Earthworm jim was a character in Clayfighter 64! If someone else in the industry can bring back this game (Clayfighter), My characters would be- Wayne: as the first character to be unveiled as one the first DLC characters. And the second character that is a great fit could've been *Double* from SkullGirls, she is perfect to be animated in clay if clayfighter ever gets a comeback in 2023..We will never EVER know if this clay animated fighting game could ever return in consoles, arcades, PC's in 2022 or sooner. I would love to see some inspirement from the developers of Skullgirls, it would be AWESOME.

He got revived by someone a good amount of years after his original defeat. The Wayne you play as isn't the original from the first Hylics, but rather another individual of his species that the original trained in a dojo like setting. Pretty sure that Somsnosa, Dedesumi, and Pongorma are the same individuals from the first game though.
I've never played hylics 2 before but I have played the second one and it's absolutely fucking amazing, I am very interested to play the original one too
what's the song that plays during the cutscene after defeating gibby, at around 6:50 and afterwards? i've tried scanning the soundtrack playlist on youtube but nothing sounded very similar
@@DeathsSON213 i've scanned the entirety of the music files of hylics 1 since it sounds more like mason's music than chuck's, but haven't found anything that sounded similar probably the best result would just be to ask the hylics discord about it or something since hylics 2's music files aren't viewable
i didn't found the first-person dugneon, and now i'v beaten gibby and saved after it thinking there was something afert it. There is any way to get out of end map if you saved after it? Edit: actually there is. Just use mini crystal on end map and you can go back to wayne house
I think the wave weapon is somsnosa's wave artifice and you can get out of end map but if you get out of end map , you have to watch the ending and back to the title menu. so I could not save then. I'm not good at English but if you understand my answer ,I'm very happy.

There was no official ost posted for this track. What we do know owe that the track is from another game created by the same developer. It's called " Fish Bowl" by Mason Lindroth. There was never an official release but you can watch the game on his channel.
