Python is fast for developers but slow for computers. That is why modern Python libraries rely on C++ or accelerator specific code for performance critical components. Mojo aims to fix Python's weak points by extending the Python language. By introducing concepts from compiled languages, you can write code on par with (or faster than!) C++ while staying comfortably within the Python language. This talk introduces Mojo and the new syntax that is added on top of Python 3.
