Yeah finally someone try hylos xp lane! He is very good xp laner now with the revamp items. Hylos can win dyrroth in xp lane at level 2 (even in glory), just need to on skill 2 then skill 1 for speed boost to run around dyrroth to dodge dyrroth’s combo. If your hp is running low then use revitalise. Until he is low health then repeat this combo but stun him this time to kill him. Dyrroth’s player are a bit overconfident usually, hylos only need to sustain and win. After winning, just need to cut lane and roam ❤ take advantage of his skill 1 for speed boost ❤To play hylos xp lane, it important to understand the enemy hero combo, so that you can plan how hylos can out sustain them.
I started picking up hylos this season since thunderbelt is really busted right now and holy crap the amount of value he offers with his passive and skill 2 really changes how teamfights play out. It really makes me wonder tho ,why no one at high elo uses him often. My mvp rate with him is extremely high, and he could easily win 1v1s with late game marksmen and burst assassins. Kinda glad I found your channel, the way you could play around with matchups and knowing the strength and limitations of hylos really shows how good you are at piloting him. Keep up the grind bruda 💪
any hero you feel you cant win trades, you should just tower hug. the first minion wave you should have delayed that minion and froze the lane. Also since dyrroth falls off hard late game he relies on snowballing so you dont need to kill him early just dont die and dont clear you creeps keep em close to your tower so he cant harrass you. if you cant reach a stalemate with dyrroth you won already. Once you have hp items you can solo him since hylos dont rely on defensive items but hp items and dyrroth skill is all about defense reduction And thunderbelt wouldve been a great 1st item since your against a melee hero you can get a lot of stacks in the laning phase. good thing you made adjustments after getting killed and you decided not to trade with him and please dont fight dyrroth when around your creeps hehe
Try a trick that I use often: When you approach Angela, don't commit the distance to reach her (Don't use your skill 1), instead let her think you are coming to her and let her use her Skill 2 on you. Then get out of range immediately, use Skill 1 if needed. The longer the lasso stays, the slower you get and eventually you get immobilized, that is where you take a lot of damage and dies. When you break her Skill 2, then you can initiate on her using your Ultimate. Of course you won't be able to solo skill her, definitely make sure someone is around. Hope this helps.
I told u say before that I'll also main Hylos this current season right? Actually, dyroth is way 3aaier to deal with once you got dominance ice. And if u want to trade blows with him use your joystick while doing basic attack like a marksman. I'll usually circling him around while attacking him, that way he'll get c9nfuse. In early phase just let him clear the minions then pull it near your turret (freeze lane) you know what I mean right? So that hec can't do his early game spike. The hardest matches I okay with, is against YZ. I've used all early items like crystal, dreadnaught or dominance but that guy really hurts. So don't engage with him no matter what. Just clear then join turtle take. During mid laning doesn't matter anyways cause guys started to group up.
Yessssssss i do the same thing and agree with you. Dyrroth is quite easy to counter with good sustain and use of skill 1 for dodging his combo. Furthermore, dyrroth is usually overconfident and easy to catch once you out sustain him. Hardest in xp lane against hylos is probably terizla. The rest are quite easy. ❤
In my recent matches as EXP using hylos, im very hard facing Cici (her yoyo skill have bonus damage with our % hp) its very painful facing her, and thamuz. Did you have solution corgi when facing a karrie / claude with DHS, or masha in late game? Masha skill 1 when activated and hit us, she will hit like a truck lol
Agree Cici is a problem for Hylos not just in EXP but in game overall. For Thamuz you need Dominance Ice and not stay in the same spot fighting Thamuz due to his passive. For Claude and Masha games, even if you are not facing them in EXP, as a macro view, I will choose vengeance as my battle spell and have blade armor in my build. Hope this helps.
Cici is a counter pick against enemies with a high health pool, so you picking Hylos against Cici means you got counterpicked. I recently made comments on this channel, too, if i can pick Hylos exp against Terizla because Terizla is a menace on the exp, and now I've got my answer with Cici. This video also showcases that, against Dyrroth, Hylos can still stand his ground even in the early.
@@HuGi-cv9nm yes when im facing terizla, dyroth, gatotkaca, YZ so far i can press them, sometimes get first blood because i play aggresive at lvl 1.. but if facing cici, i totally lost hahahha Im still at legend tier maybe the level of opponent is not legit too... What must we do if we facing karrie? Never meet right now, but i want to prepared
@@riskyermantorosalim Karrie counters everything to be honest with her true damage so when using Hylos or other heroes, just stay close to Karrie and stuns her so your team can finish her of or let other long ranged heroes to kite her because her bassick attack range isn't that big. Her only escape is her s2 short dash (or flicker if she uses it) and that's it
Hylos does have a bad match up against these exp laners that are strong at early game so usually freezing the lane or playing safe is the best way to not feed
You actually just played that lane very poor. Freezing lanes and letting the enemy clear the waves if you know that he will overpower you is a basic exp laning macro that even low glory players do. You could've hid in the bush and tanked the cannon minion so that it won't get hit by your tower for the first 2 minutes. Thus that dyrroth will overextend and he will be prone to "ganks" by your jungler or midlaner. Instead you forced to clear your wave and gave him a 2 0 in the early game. You're actually lucky that he's a stupid player that he didn't even take advantage on his lead over you lol. EXP lane isn't always about winning the 1v1, keep that in mind.
He was petrified and bound to die when Dyrroth switched on to him, instead, Harley could have returned to space time hat after he ulted Dyrroth. You mean you could have saved him in my shoes? Would love to know.
