It's funny to see people came here and said Hyomin is skinny, not sexy, and bla bla. These comments are as offensive as saying "you are fat, too sexy, unhealthy, and bla bla". It does not make you look good making such comments. As Hyomin's fan, it hurts me more than it might hurt Hyomin. In the end, it's an entertainment. If too critical, you lose all the fun and enjoyment in the song because all her three songs are really really really good. In the end, I also wonder people come here for the songs or to advocate about sexism, feminism or just spreading hates. Have a good day people and if you like her mini album, please buy it. She works really hard for this. Thanks.
The thing is CCM asks for it with a song called "Nice Body". If you claim you have a nice body but in reality you don't, then you're setting yourself up for negative comments.
Did you know? Hyomin actually did Crossfit training for two months to prepare for her debut. Crossfit is a grueling exercise that instruct you to EAT A LOT while doing a wide range of exercises. Getting a nice body is not about NOT EATING, is about eating well & exercising well.
Anyone in this world who works hard to achieve their looks physically of course would brag about it, and it's by nature that more of a majority are attracted to people with a "nice body". I don't think this supposed to come off as offensive at all, it's just the truth especially in a girl's point of view. But whatever, supporting my Hyomin all the way.
Good point. I'm kind of chubby but think this song sends a good message overall. A few lyrics are a little borderline, but it's her song and I've got no reason to hate it. If you don't like it, don't listen, I say!
I always give a benefit of a doubt for these Korean pop songs cause Koreans tend to be sincere and have good intentions regarding things that might seem offensive to other cultures. This MV seems kinda boring though. I'm still gonna look up the translation and make sure. I like her in T-ara and i find all of them fascinating. For the time being at least. Let's be honest. Edited: Alright I watched a version with translation. It was very straight forward and blunt. Which is a good thing. I wish K-pop videos would represent the respective songs better.
I love Hyomin - she is my bias in T-ara. The problem I have is this video. The videos for both Jiyeon and Hyomin's solos were just off-course and a little high on the sexy factor. However, I love both songs and some of the fashion looks that Hyomin was rocking look amazing. Hyomin Fighting!
Hyomin à....cô làm tốt lắm....lời bài hát thì miễn bàn, tôi chính thức bị nghiện bài này rồi ^^...queen chúng ta hãy cố gắng tăng views Mv này giúp cô ấy nhé.....Hyomin and Queen is tries....
It is the fact that most women want to be slim...Everyone has their own way in interpreting this mv, but it is quite obvious that the message is to motivate women to workout if you want to get a nice body! Well as for the standard of nice body its up to you~ No offence but please stop over reacting and spreading hates == Hyomin is working so hard on this solo... If you really don't like the mv, just appreciate the song Please! Hyominnie Fighting! You can do well! :)
So here you go, the translation of this song! Do you find any part offensive? I only find it motivating :) Ah yeah You know Brave sound Hyomin, Loco Let’s do that Let me see your body move I love that Any woman would love to show off Any woman goes on a diet at least once When you’re a woman, you of course want to receive love The prince of my dreams will certaintly appear to me (I take note on everything I want to eat) I live noxiously everyday (I endure all the pains) I’m going to be prettier I’m going to love you more, I’m going to show you more of it I will change, you will see You do deserve it My body is a nice nice body Legs are very slim, with my hot waist (give me love, give me love, give me love) My body is a nice body As if everyones surprised they turn back at once to look Now, they can’t ignore me Even you know, that your legs are beautiful, right? Well I know too, when I stare at it I see, that I don’t want to win, at least for today anyway You’re so hungry you look like a log All of a sudden I meet the best of chances And I mature even more Any man would wish for such a woman Any man, as if they’re all the same, love pretty women Every man thinks about sex at least once If only they were thinking about me, would be great if it were me (I take note on everything I want to eat) I live like I’m noxious everyday (I endure all the pains) I’m going to be prettier I’m going to love you more, I’m going to show you more of it I will change, you will see You do deserve it My body is a nice nice body Legs are very slim, with my hot waist (give me love, give me love, give me love) My body is a nice body As if everyones surprised they turn back at once to look Now, they can’t ignore me Baby I’ve gone through so much You don’t know hard I worked because of you My nice style, My good feeling style I’m also proud now My body is a nice nice body Legs are very slim, with my hot waist (You’re irritating me now the way you can’t your eyes off of me) My body is a nice body As if everyones surprised they turn back at once to look Now, they can’t ignore me Credit: KashiGasa
Mình cũng z nè. Nhưng nhiều người lại lấy làm không thích thông điệp của bài này. Mình thấy bt mà. Ăn nhiều thì mập, ăn ít và healthy thì sẽ ốm đẹp thôi!
I know every girl or woman thinks about their body (sometimes more than healty). I think no one should take Hyomin's body as a model. She is very slim. I think it isn't healthy anymore. She is extreamly underweighted. Of course you shouldn't look like the girl at the beginning that's (of course) unhealthy too. but please to every girl outthere: Don't put yourself under pressure. I've been through all this stuff. Anorexia and bulimia and I know girls at my school who are even slimmer than her and belive me, that's not normal. Don't take dolls or models (who are most times photoshopped) as your model. They are not sterotypes nor are they rolemodels. I always say to myself: as long as I don't see my tummy over my boobies everything is okay~
I love this comment. I fell into eating disorders last summer and I still have a lot of problems because of that. It's not like only idols are causes of that, but it really doesn't help when you can read on an idol profile that he is 20 y.o. 170 cm height and weights 41 kg... It really can make u feel like your body is not atractive.
As I said before: When I'm wearing a t-shirt and looking down and don't see my tummy, I think everything is okay, I'm not fat... I'm the sproty type, so I might weight a bit more than other girls my age, 'cuz I have more muscles, but i don't put me under pressure anymore. I left anorexia and bulemia with my exfriend behind me :D I'm free now ^^
Anna Ribbon One thing I like about being American is that Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian can both be viewed as different, but both equally pretty in their own rights. I think it's better to view your body on what it can do rather than what it looks like for attractiveness. My body can lift 73 kg, dance pretty awesomely, and run a mile in 7 mins. I think it's something to be proud of.
Yes, but unfortunately I like Asian type of beauty more =/ I'm Polish and I've always had small frame, so I thought I'm closer to Sandara type than Kim Kardashian's one. And that was my mistake =/ But I'm fine now, weight about 40 kg and want to be heavier XD Lucky U, if you love yourself...
Some are saying that this video is satire and that it's making fun of the idea that girls care so much about their bodies. The problem is that this isn't a joke for Hyomin, it's her reality. She's not pretending to be that thin here. She lost 9 pounds with crash dieting and hardcore exercising for this song and that's nothing new for her. When comebacks roll around for T-ara, they all do the same. This video is more problematic because it's extremely sexist more than it has anything to do with body image with the idea that women only live for men and will "endure the pain" to please them. I love and support Hyomin and I don't think she's to blame for the song, her crap company is for putting her face on their bad decisions once again.
@Skye.325 i think what they meant is in general women are pressured by society's standard like "boys don't like overweight women" or overall women just felt like they need to change physically to fit in.
@@Joker-yd7me no this is definitely the company's choice being skinny is literally one of Korea's even the whole world's beauty standard, a lot of kpop idols are hated because they are "fat" even they're not. It's the society and the company's fault because nobody will go through such hard time just to change their physical appearance if it isn't the beauty standard
@Skye.325 yea thats y i said "having mindset that fat is unhealthy is toxic" and "you thinking fat is ugly is a preference". We're not perfect, not filling each other's standards is normal. I mean kuddos to u ig if u met ur ideal type lol
actually this songs were helping me out when i'm working on my diet, it's not motivating me starving myself to de*ath but more like making me doing my diet in a fun way and it make me love my shape everytime i heard this songs hahahah
So cool!!! I don't understand why people say Hyomin rebelled like Miley Cyrus. She did very well...I'm a Vietnamese Queens (V-Queens) i love T-ara not only they're beautiful but also their songs are so addictive ( i'm addict, i'm addict....) T-ara will come to Vietnam soon and i hope they will be welcome everywhere. ALWAYS SUPPORTED T-ARA
why some people criticize her so much???? . In my point of view, this song is good and catchy. We need to support Hyomin as we did with Jiyeon. Minnie does deserve it !!!
The first few scenes led me to believe it would be like IU's transformation in Dream High. I was disappointed to say the least. If this MV's intention was to encourage a healthy lifestyle, it definitely could've done a better job. Maybe scenes of actually exercise or a person actually trying to change?
read the lyrics. This song is not about healthy lifestyle. it actually says you cannot get a boyfriend if you don't have a nice body. If you want men to appreciate you, you should get thin. That's the bloody message of this song, written by a man. Thank you, Brave Brothers...
The song lyrics seem kinda sad to me, I mean it says All girls want to show some skin All girls go on a diet at least once All girls want to be loved A prince of my dreams will appear for sure (Not eating what I want to) I will be strong (I will endure through the pain) I will become pretty I will fall in love, I will show everyone I will change Basically saying she wants to change because she thinks people don't like her as she is, and then she has the guy right there telling her its right to think that way. All guys want a girl like this All guys like pretty girls All guys think dirty thoughts at least once I want that to be me, I want that She's saying she thinks won't ever be loved if she doesn't have a nice body, she wants to be noticed for once. I think most girls have thought like that at some point.
also the dance to the song specifically emphasizes the most sexual parts of her body, she already knows people won't love her for her personality because they didn't when she was over weight (in the mv) so she tries to get people to love her for her looks.
Denny Cheung lmao, remember this is internet and freedom to express. My comment is not toward Hyomin, but the lyric instead. Blame on the producer and lyric writer....And you shouldn't bother do the spamming stuffs, you don't get anything from doing it. Use your time wisely
+Ashton L sad but somehow that's the reality. for example, we always try to look pretty when there's someone we like and I dont find this bad....it's trying to gain confidence in yourself I guess
People giving this video hate are just mad because she has a nice body body and she's not afraid to show it..... those people probably just don't feel comfortable with there own bodys
It's been three days. The chorus stuck in my head "Nice Nice Bodaayyy" and I am swaying left right left right to the beat. Great song for laid back and for hot summer time ^^ Waiting for your live performance. Hyomin fighting!!!
did anyone think that maybe the video isn't to promote dieting and having a 'nice body'... maybe she's trying to point out the flaws in the ridiculous regimes that kpop idols (and women in general) put themselves through to achieve the ideal body, and to gain men's attention? (at least that's what i think its about) no doubt hyomin has an amazing body, but we all know she works very hard to achieve it, and we've seen before (on her instagram i think) how much she hates having to restrict herself of food, as do lots of other idols. i honestly took the lyrics to be a sarcastic view on how women are expected to starve themselves to look hot enough so that men will 'give them love'. personally i think its a great song, great dance, hyomin looks amazing and clearly her hard work has paid off. i think if theres any message to take away from this though it would be that women should diet for themselves and not for the attention of men.
I hate when guys (boy groups) can show theres abs and dance shirtless on stage and nobody say something!! But when a girl (girl groups) show a little bit skin, she'll be calling a slut!! Come on people it's 2014 not Stone Age!! We girls are humans too and deserves the same rights at the guys!! JUST SAYING!!
The problem is that it's the fan girls that are like "oppa so sexy omg abs omg aaaahhhh~~~~" for the boys and then "omg she's such a slut, why is she copying everyone, everyone is doing sexy concept omg so bad kill her" for the girls.
Dear Ai. I am a man. A mature one. And for me " a girl (girl groups) show a little bit skin" IS NOT A SLUT. What is slutty though is that Euro-American fashion chose women to be "the beauty" and a "sexual object" and it makes them look like "sluts". To me what is SLUTTY, is INEQUALITY. As far as I am concerned the women that dance in Paris's Crazy Horse are simply brave and beautiful. Ones that sunbathe topless - the same. But if women cannot do that everywhere that men can THAT IS SLUTTY. And if a woman cannot dance shirtless on a stage while on the same stage a man does it, HE IS A BLEEDING SLUT!! Wouldn't you agree?
I really love this song despite the controversy, love the beat and flow. I see it as a inspirational song, some people want songs to inspire them to work out
My only complaint is Hyomin's hair. Why did she choose this kind of hairstyle?? She looks so gorgeous with long wavy dark brown hair T^T Overall, this song is actually kinda lacking. I'm not talking about the M/V or the message of the song. I'm talking about the beat. BB could have tried a much more unique beat. These are just my thoughts, alright! Peace!
I think her hairstyle ks original, while the song is officially my jam. I put this on replay for the last 5 hours and danced to this on ky computer chair. Imagine if you will.
yes agree, that hair is not good. She is usually so beautiful with her long hair. Hyomin should always have long hair I think, she kinda doesn't look like herself here :< :O also agree with the music. The song was okay.
WOW.....This was fantastic. 'Nice Body' is an understatement. With this HyoMin has reached another level of sexiness. The MV and the music are great. She looks good even with her short blond hair. I wasn't that happy with whoever was rapping. Would have liked to have Hyomin doing that, but that's my opinion. Overall, I think it was fantastic.
I do not focus on the more or less anti, I just know that Queen's has always stood by each other, more page views and Hyomin has given me a great feeling. Everyone please rise mv view all by listening and heard many times, calling for more people to listen, to share web pages ..... One million view for the first day
I got the munchies so bad I would settle for a simple glazed or crispy cream. BUUUUT I am WAY to buzzed to be driving. I got plenty of steaks and beer and other stuff so I am a thinking, ...When you look at struggles facing the human population, my situation aint so bad after all, eh ?
Gosh I knew if there was going to be another sexy concept from a girl group, people are going to be immediately judging it. I mean seriously, Hyomin is being promoted with her own song which sounds fairly good. But most of you are being offended just by how this video looks and taking the meaning of the lyrics in a negative. If you guys don't like it, then don't bash. This song wasn't meant for specific people or to impress others, it was just only to say go do something to express yourself by being active. Even though this mv doesn't display the positive message very well, I still think it's a nice song and those of you who felt that "Miley Cyrus" thing, it was basically the outfits which had the similar feel to it. Hyomin's not copying anyone, blame the company who copied the same style.
Totally rad music video dude's 😎😗😊😁😊😁😃😁😃😄🤣😄😃😈😈👽😠😠👻😎😎😭😄😆😄😄😭😃😄😄😄🤣😆😆🤣😄🤣😆😆😭😄🤣😄😆😄😄😃😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄🤣😃😆😃🤣😄🤣😄😄🤣😄🤣🤣🙈🤣😭😎😎😭👻👻😎😽🤣😆😃😠😄😄🤣😃😭😭🤣😂😂😅😄😃😁😊😚☺️😘🥰😊😘🥰😘😝☺️😊☺️😘😆😄😊😘😊😁😊😘😊😘😊😆🥰😘😊
when i was 15 i was healthy and i felt fabulous but i started eating junk food and gain 15 kg, i felt like shit and feel like a couch potato. i feel breathless just by walking up the stairs nbecause i was so fat. i started going to the gym and stumble on this music video. i felt fabulous and it motivates me to go to the gym. i lose 8 kg thanks to this song
Oh my god seriously I don't get why some people when they see a girl dancing sexy in tight/short clothes they immediately start saying she's trashy just using her body for whatever reason and they compare her to somebody else. None of them are the same person at all and the clothes thing I seen most of the comments come from guys and that's where practically sexism comes in and you people just keep putting down a girl or girls who just want to show off their bodies and not be ashamed and dance provocatively
The fact that I just discovered this thru a random spotify playlist which featured underrated bop songs gives me so much pity since I've been sleeping on this masterpiece. I didn't know also that Hyomin is T-ara member and I have a pc of her from their Bunny Style release, wtf. I didn't recognized her because she has short hair here, that's why I kept saying throughout the mv she's familiar 😭😭😭
