Hyouka is The Best Anime of 2012

Oreki is one of my favorite characters. Rewatching Hyouka for the 3rd time, taking copious notes along the way, devising one idea for this video then walking away from it after a lot of work...it all made me realize at the end of the day that Oreki is important to me. Much as I also adore Chitanda, especially in how she helps to shape Oreki, he's ultimately the character that I relate to the most, and the character that most effected me after revisiting Hyouka.
And so I set up finally talking about another one of my favorite anime by doing a character study on one of my favorite characters. Its been a long time coming, but I've finally got something new to share with you all. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, so I hope you'll enjoy it as well!
I'm not going to put a timetable on more videos, but I can promise you all that I am at least back to actually working on them. I also can't promise that I'll get back around to games quite yet, but there will be more anime in the future so if that's your thing you'll be in for more good stuff. Hopefully, anyway. Thanks for all of your support and kind words, it means a whole hell of a lot.

I have just found this channel and being Hyouka my favorite anime all time, I loved this video and it makes me want to watch Hyouka again, and also start making video essays. Great video!

This was a great video! I watched this show for the first time earlier this year and it easily became one of my personal favorites. It has so much throughout that you can sink your teeth into, and videos like this always help me to appreciate the nuances and depth I might have missed in the moment. Subbed without hesitation

I loved the insight on the character and how he grows into what he wants to become. It a more realistic sort of way into changing as a person but that change is for the better. Awesome 👍

Hyouka it's my favorite series and I'm glad to finally see one more great analysis that help connect even more to this so human relatable, engagingly mysterious and overall well done piece, especially the development of Oreki as a person Btw, great editing, really caught my attention 🇧🇷

@@WallyTheLegend I know this is out of nowhere but. Have you seen Violet Evergarden? (It's on Netflix. 13 Episodes with an OVA and a side story movie. The end movie has yet to be localized...) I think it would be a wonderful candidate for this kind of video. I really don't like going by the 3 episode rule but. Violet is a bit hard to get attached to in the beginning but, The animation and characters are so wonderful. I think you would really like it.

@@WallyTheLegend Please move it up, just a warning though. The latter episodes have a fair amount of blood in it. That and the OVA can be watched after the main series. The Opening and Ending music are absolutely wonderful. Sincerely and Michishirube really do capture the anime/Violet well. Also have some tissues ready, Kyoto Animations really knows how to make the tears flow!
