The “Wait, what am I doing?!” moment. Sometimes you pick up where you left days later. Literally!

this is really well done and I like that the person with ADHD is a female and an Adult and not the stereotypical young boy! this is really accurate! Bravo 👏

Not really a stereotype since how boys act cause them to get checked if they have ADHD more often & more guys get it then gals. Otherwise yeah agreed video is accurate.

Being predominantly inattentive and an adult male I also identify closer to these types of portrayals myself.

I left the film, went to make a phone call, then went on Facebook, then I was like oh I was watching the ADHD film.

That's really well done. I exactly feel like that, and I feel guilty about the thing. My house is always such a mess even if I try so hard. And people often think I'm not interested in what they're telling me, but I simply can't stop thinking. Anything around has the same importance to me...smells, the sound of the words they're pronouncing...every word gives birth to other thoughts...

This film gave me the final push to ask for an ADHD diagnosis. So have a great big thank you from me x

Brava! This perfectly encapsulates the everyday struggles of living with ADHD. From the overlooked basic tasks, to the endless organization strategies, to struggling with memory and attention (missing our appointments!), to spoiling our food ("ADHD taxes"), to living with messes, to job searching, and struggling to keep relationships... it's all painfully accurate. It can be tough being in a relationship with someone who has ADHD, but it helps *tremendously* when the other person either understands it personally (they also have it) or is extremely empathetic, patient, and kind. My partner (who also has ADHD) and I both watched this for the first time together tonight, and he got really scared at the end. He was like, "I didn't know this was going to turn into a horror movie." He said that it's terrifying to him to see other people dealing with his mess (cleaning and organizing), but also recognized that it wasn't supposed to be seen that way and might just be how *he* sees it. Just like the supporting character, I tend to want to show my love via acts of service, especially I see those I love struggling, but I'm trying to also be respectful of his valid anxieties around it and the variety of ways people (in general) can interpret my well-intentioned actions. My partner thanked me for my patience and said he struggled to express that specific anxiety until he watched this. It can be really difficult to articulate just how we struggle, but it's art like this that helps us confront and process complicated emotions. Thank you for this opportunity to connect with my partner and work toward finding a solution for both of us. If other, non-ADHD people find this video helpful and would like to know more about ADHD, check out the channel "How To ADHD" on RU-vid and the Anthony Padilla interview called "I spent a day with people w/ ADHD." Those are great, easily digestible starts to understanding us "brains" x}

haha. I laugh cuz of how insanely relatable this was. Well done!! My god the constant distraction and bouncing between "oh shit...what was I doing, again???" made me LOL. For years I thought it was just me. Thanks for showing the rest of us out here that in fact....it is NOT just me.

Oh thank you very much for this shortfilm -Iam so grateful to realize that the topic of adhd is actually really challenge to both - the one who has adhd and the person who has an interaction with this person. Iam the one who has it - and didn't knew since last year, when I was diagnosed. Iam 51 now. Things become better, more understandable for everyone who wish to learn and wish to become humble, truthful, loving, patience abd compassionate. So all the best for your further projects and for yourselfs. ❤Greetings from Berlin
