Truly an amazing game...i miss those times back in the old days when this game was newly released into our arcade. We had to wait for fukin 45 mins just to touch this game. Damn, i wish our arcades were still poppin like that
This =\= HDR. HDR is super turbo. Hyper sf2 is every street fighter in one. Meaning you can use world warrior Ryu, hyper fighting Ryu, championship edition Ryu, super Ryu, or Super turbo Ryu. Each of them all have balancing differences. Like world warrior sagat being better than st sagat 100%
The problem I had with this game - All the computer opponents are Super Turbo. So having all the variations of everyone is pretty pointless, unless you're playing with a friend in VS mode.
they should make Hyper Street Fighter II HD Remix. adding the HDR to the list but using the same engines and mechanics (and if possible the sprites too for all versions). HD REMIX (The current HDR) SUPER T (SSF2T or Original Mode in HDR) SUPER (SSF2: The New Challengers) TURBO (SF2: Hyper Fighting) CHAMP (SF2: Champion Edition) NORMAL (SF2: The World Warrior) If this happens, I'll always use either Normal Guile or Normal Zangief... or the powerhouse, CE Sagat! Tiger!!
The big problem I have with this game is that the computer only uses Super Turbo characters so if you were to pick a Super Turbo or Super character you were pretty much just playing regular Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I really wanted to fight the original SFII bosses with Super Turbo Zangief but they weren't even in the game.
I've been playing superSF2 on the snes for a long time and I just recently purchased hypersf2 on the ps2. It's ridiculously harder on the ps2, I can't even beat the first opponent. Has anyone else had any problems?
