All these 12v compressors are good to have in your trunk for an emergency but not for constantly topping off car tires, for home use the Ridged pancake compressor $129.00 at Home Depot is a better way to go but for the trunk 12V is the way to go.

The hose gets hot quickly. By the time I unscrew that thing, all the air gets out of the tire! I got a "quick connect" air hose adapter. Works great!

There is no way that your tires are rated in the 40PSI range. The tires on that vehicle should be running somewhere between 32 and 35 psi manufacturers spec. You're not running a John Deere agriculture tractor!

After pumping, why didn't you take the pressure with a tire pressure gauge to compare to digital gauge on unit to see how accurate it is?

Mine does not seem to work. As you see in the video the air pressure does not visibly move. It adds air VERY slowly. So slow you can in fact burn it out.
