Huh! I think Chelsea's Game may have inspired a later game called "Baby Smash" that was the same basic concept but in color (rather than the horrifying scene its name suggests). I also hope Tanya Whyte kept at it with learning computer stuff - she was off to a great start.
Aw man, this takes me back! I remember my 14 year old self making little 1st person adventure games that were absolutely awful but it really did spark my interest in design and creating stuff on the computer. I later went to college for graphic design.
This was video of the year for me, just for 10:06. It honestly made me miss playing my old Mac computer, but luckily I have Sheepshaver setup on Windows 10 to play such games as Movod II, Harry the Handsome Executive, Pararena 2 and Glider Pro.
Thanks for the video. I used to make stacks (sadly all lost now) and they were a bit like the maze game you showed. I can remember using ResEdit to add noises from other games in. Hours of fun 🙂
10:50 I'm pretty sure it's no creepier to send her a photo of yourself than it is for her to be asking people to send her photos of toddlers! (Sorry Angela, I'm only joking)
