Thank you! I am pretty sure this will cover the splashing to the rear and top. So going with the tail tidy wont be an issue😊. One thing I missed out: Saree gaurd is mandatory in India😬
@@nithinajesh838 Yeah, the rules in KL are pretty strict, bro. I'm from TN, and here they don't really bother about the saree guard. Maybe try explaining the splatter issues to the police from a practical point of view.😬🙌
Keeping the rear suspension at lowest preload will lower seat height when you sit on it by a very small amount. But will affect ride quality. I keep it at medium usually as half the time i ride solo and half the time with a pillion. Adjustment tool is provided with the bike.
Will try. Already have a long wishlist of accessories which is growing day by day. 1. Official mudguard extension kit 2. Official luggage rack 3. Not yet decided on top box or bag 4. Matte PPF 5.Helmet locks x 2 mounted on luggage rack 6. Some custom works for reattaching the saree guard And so on.... I feel these are the essential ones for me. With some custom works, we can fit the number plate on the tyre hugger. Will have to get a tail tidy in that case
@@nithinajesh838 Please add videos about these updates as well as you progress. Or atleast share your instagram id/whatsapp number as I'm also planning to do most of these mentioned customisations. Thanks!
Hi, I bought the same. I have a few questions please. 1. It's written "KTM" on the tyre hugger, was it the same for yours as well (just to confirm if i have received the right product) 2. The metal clamp i have received, both are the same. Would that be okay? I did not get that 'H' like clamp as you shown in the video Asking this because I'll be installing this only in the first service, which would happen only after a month from now.
1. After I removed the sticker only I saw the KTM logo. Actually from the service centre itself the service guys (who services the KTMs too) told me its the they have fitted the same tyre hugger in multiple ktm adventures. Hyperrider just added the brackets to match the triumphs with same product. The KTM logo is not seen unless you look close. 2. One of my friends too got same bracket on both sides just like you got. For him the hugger was almost close to tyre so he had to heat it with a heat gun and slightly bent it. Not sure whether its due to the brackets. But for me it was a perfect fit
@@yahankc1008 😰😰 I'll get it installed only in the first service. I really hope this would solve the problem as we see in the video. However, knowing about your experience, i doubt it now 😢
@@yahankc1008 For me it worked just fine. Goint to install the mudguard extension kit from triumph (450rs) to solve mud coming on rear shock. My wife(pillion) is happy now. It was a nightmare for her before installing the hugger
Actually, there is a way, just checked. Lower portion of saree guard has to be welded to opposite side properly. Then it will also fit. Not sure how much it will cost
