My mother is on a ventilator for life support, and I would like to ask if you offer paid consultations to check if her ventilator is set up correctly. For the cold nodule and Graves’ disease. The explanation talks about partial thyroidectomy is possible but that seems to be only in reference to it being a malignant nodule. I believe in Graves (which she has) you would need a total thyroidectomy so therefore biopsy first would not prove to be too helpful. 2.5 cm is also quite big so I would argue for it may result in a false negative. The only way I could see a biopsy being helpful is if the surgeon needs to know before hand so that he can decide about lymph node removal. Just my thoughts
