@@davidresendiz7989 Thanks, David! Funny that you think I have a decent voice; I get at least one comment a month from someone saying they hate my accent! I do have a bit of a regional "twang" but I try to keep it to a minimum as a courtesy to non-native english speakers. Sending best wishes from Bah-ston! -BOGO
Kudos for the Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you considered - Dinanlinson Helpful Exercises Approach (just google it)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for uncovering a simple trick to boost your penis length minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend Sam finally got astronomical success with it.
Magic! Just kidding. I put a lot of time and effort into presenting the material as clearly and efficiently as possible. I plan it all out before recording; I write an outline, then a script, decide on examples, plan the diagrams, record and animate everything, then edit out anything that still feels too off-topic once I can see the whole thing together. Giving a lecture in real time is way harder; it's easy to ramble or choose lousy examples on the fly, and you can't edit afterwards! Please share the video with your classmates; if you thought the class made the topic way more complicated than it needed to be, chances are they feel exactly the same way! Sending you best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
@@BOGObiologyhey I understood that it takes due to concentration difference but if water is entering into cell isn't it also because of low concentration of water inside cell or it doesn't depend upon amount of H20 molecules or it only depends upon solute molecules number?? Please clarify
My teacher literally couldn't make me understand from days.....and you made me in less than 5 mins....i am so thankful....i hope to be a doctor someday....and these concepts are gonna help me a lot.....thanks bogo biology...for helping me clear my basic concepts😀😀
Thanks for the comment, Jaydeep! Glad to hear the video was helpful; I had fun making it. Please share with your classmates, if it was helpful to you it might be useful to them as well. Sending lots of love from Boston! -BOGO
Glad you enjoyed it, vZam! My thought process was something like "Ok, I know what a cell in a watery, salty, hot, cold and acid environment look like but how the heck do I draw a cells that's base... WAITAMINUTE!" Sending love and best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
Great video! I feel dumb when I have to watch these more "simplified" videos :/ but I think a lot of times its because the books just explain what happens, but often leave out the why! Anyways, great video, helps a lot for dummies like me.
Beautifully explained - simple yet complex. I had no questions regarding the topic after I watched your video and will definitely subscribe to your channel. Continue your great work! 👍🏾
Thanks, Lay! My thought process for the basic joke was something like "Ok, I drew a cell that was hot, cold and acidic, but how do I draw a cell that's too base... WAITASECOND!" Sending best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
Legend has it, BOGO will still reply to late comments... Thanks for this useful video! I was able to learn much more for a review sheet topic on this and I also shared with classmates!
Legend is correct! I try to reply to comments when they're posted but sometimes I miss one or two, especially if I'm busy. Glad the video was helpful! Do you have suggestions for other topics that would be useful? I'm always looking for new ideas. Sending best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
Sometimes you just need someone to really dumb it down for you to understand. I have found no website or video willing to do that, until now! Wonderful video, had me understanding concepts I've had a problem with for some time. Thank you!
Thanks, Amina! There's nothing wrong with wanting something stated very plainly and simply so you have a solid foundation to build off. Then you can add all the details and examples onto it. Starting with the and trying to figure out the overall concept is like trying to figure out what a show is about after having someone quote random funny lines from it to you. Sending love from Boston! -BOGO
This is what I wanted to know....... RU-vid recomends are incredible.......one in million will feel this.......such a pretty explanation.....very good madam ...❤️
I love the explaination and how smoth the video was done. The little cells were super cute!!! I was hung up on why the salt was not going out or in the cells when water follows salt and there was salt still in the cell. Now I understand that the membrane is not permeable enough because salt is a bigger solute and that because there is more salt solutes outside the cell they will move outwards, or vise versa. Thank you for your help!!!
I have been facing a lot of confusion for 2 months..I saw so..so. many videos and also read book but always concentration solutions issue was stay there in my mind..... But a huge thanks to you 😇😇👏👏👏 And you will be happy bcz I have subscribed your channel 🥰
That joke 100% came from me thinking “I know what a cell in an acidic environment would look like, but how do I draw a cell that’s basic… wait a minute!!!"
Glad it was useful, Chloe! Please feel free to share with your classmates; hopefully they'll return the favor if they discover something useful in future! Love, BOGO
Glad I could help! I had fun making this video. Please forward to your classmates if you have a moment; if you're confused they likely are, too! Sending love and best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
Ok I’m really late to the party. I have been out of nursing for a few years and now going back so I figured I would refresh my brain. This was a GREAT video. Thank you for making difficult material, easy to understand!
Hi, K! So happy it was useful. I'm on lockdown in Boston due to the Coronavirus (I'm not personally sick, but I don't want to accidentally spread it) and your comment brightened my day. Sending you good vibes from a distance of 6 feet! -BOGO
I don't study biology (I'm history teacher student), I don't really sure about what are you talking about, and I don't know how I come here because i'm spanish speaker with a very very basic english buuut... I love it, now I will never drink sea water, and I learnt why pickled cucumbers looks like this. You're amazing!
Thank you a lot. I’m about to be a freshman in a month and I want to look over things so when school start I have a better understanding of it and while I was reading it, it made zero sense so gracias
This concept is really hard for me. Not after watching this vid! My teacher will never explain how you do.. I wish i had a teacher like you making things easy to learn..
Thanks! I'm so glad you like the molecules! I actually just made a new video about the properties of water and it features two water molecules on a date 😆. Sending love from Boston!
I love your videos to the moon and back because you explain so briefly and practically...... I really needed to understand this......thank you very much.......love from INDIA 🇮🇳 🇮🇳
omahgud thx u saved me I have a test for honors bio tomorrow and I don't really get the teacher sometimes as she is Swedish and has an accent that I can't understand sometimes. I hope I got used to the teacher as she is actually a nice teacher. Thanks for this.
Thanks, Randal! Glad the video was useful. Please share with your classmates; if you found it useful they will, too! And maybe they'll pay it forward the next time they find something good. Take care! -BOGO
my bio teacher is actually quite good but this video was a great supplement cuz i was starting to struggle a bit in her class. thank you bogo! ps the too basic joke at 0:32 is gold
Thanks, Denni! I'm working hard on creating a set of guided notes to go with it. Hopefully I'll have them posted by this weekend! Sending best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
Wrong, diffusion is the movement of solute/solvent/gas/liquid while osmosis is particularly the movement of water so diffusion gives a larger range of higher to lower concentration movement because of which diffusion is a better term to use at 1:25
To be fair, I make more sense when I screencast than when I teach! I can plan and script everything in advance and I'm not trying to answer on the fly!
There is large Concentration of salt inside cell in hypertonic condition and less conc of salt inside cell than outside in hypotonic condition The images You show in this vedio is opposite to it but your explanation is Correct 👍🏻
Thanks, Yen! Wish this sort of thing had existed back when I was in school, but at least it's around for you all! Please share with your classmates if you get a chance; they'll pay it forward next time they find something good! Love, BOGO
Thanks, Alton! So glad to hear it was useful. Please forward to your classmates; if you thought it was helpful, they probably will, too! Sending best wishes from Boston! -BOGO
This was a great explanation. The last basic cell was great and the last comment comparing that it would be safer to drink your own pee compared to drinking ocean salt water was hilarious 😳🤣🤣🤣
