You must have a defective unit. I just purchased it today and it works beautiful for me. And mine is quiet. The stall force is way way strong! I also own the big plus model.
definitely didn’t have it charged up enough, I noticed mine came with a low battery and low power. The light ring needs to be green to have a sufficient charge, at full power the stalling was definitely not that bad, and mine is much quieter than this one.
I believe you got a defective one, I just measured mine with an app that detects the dB loudness and at about a foot away speed 3 was reading 51db and with mine thers no way to stall the bullet shape attachment speed 2-3 without crying LOL , You know every Best Buy received at least one on release date, maybe your local bestbuy has one you could grab it real quick and test it out, specially that you could return it same day, but I am 90% urs is defected, I would say 100% but I’m a little chubbier then you so it might be harder for me to stall it, but Truly hurts like crazy when I try to stall the bullet speed 2 and 3
Yeah pretty sure I did as well. I bought mine directly from hyperice so I’m going to need to send it back. It definitely wasn’t comfortable trying to stall it with the bullet attachment. Does yours stall easier with the flat attachment?
@@BestMassageTech speed 1 flat attachment is easily stalls that speed and that attachment is perfect for the back of the neck, speed 2 and 3 become painful to stall on TriggerPoints, if you jam it right away it will stall easily, you would have to ease in on the pressure in order to take advantage of its power under pressure It feels like it has some sort of technology that when it feels pressure It amps up the speed on its own to compensate the pressure, for example if I’m on speed 1 and ease in on pressure and I quickly let go of all pressure it runs at a higher speed for about a seconds, like if it automatically switch to second speed under pressure I find myself using speed 2 most of the time on, I used to own the hyper volt silver with that one my go to speed was 1 What annoys me is when you turn it on you have to wait like 2 to 3 seconds for it to reach it’s intended speed The higher battery life the less time you have to wait, it just bugs me it reminds me of a loading screen LOL.
@@IWario1 y'hello! The stall force is still a joke even with the bullet head. The reason you feel like it's harder to stall with the bullet head is a psychological reaction. The smaller the surface of the head, the more painful it is going to feel on you. The more painful it feels, the less likely you'd be eager to press on you. 😅 Therabody is Hyperice's direct competitor, and the Theragun Mini beats this one, especially with the cone head (to compare with the GO's bullet). The mini is slightly louder than the GO, I admit, but it gets the job done better. And of course, full-size massagers do an even better job. 🙂
Is there any gun that actually digs deep and doesn’t just vibrate the surface of your muscles? The only ones I’ve seen that look like they do anything are the theragun, Tim tam, and a jigsaw with a massage attachment (but these are loud af)
I’m looking for something the really dig into my hamstrings with, and I have a budget of $200 so I was looking at this or the theragun mini. What would you recommend in that price range?
Between the two the Theragun mini but for that price point I’d actually recommend the Jawku V2 with promo code BMT or the Ekrin B37 with promo code BMT25. Both should come in around your budget after promo code. If you’re trying to do some serious work, something that’s a full size device is going to do a better job.
Just won one in a RAFFLE AT MY JOB l Mine doesnt sound Like that...Mine is much QUIETER....HAS ALOT OF POWER...IF U HAVE SOMEONE TO MASSGE U IT WOULD WORK ALOT BETTER...ENJOY THIS...
Wow this is very disappointing. I really wanted this to be my toss in a backpack, use during break type gun. But if it’s THAT loud and weak...hard pass.
I don't have larger model to compare... But I love my new GO model. Quiet, can handle more than ample pressure before stall force. I highly recommend. Love it
Y'hello, Best Massage Tech! I got my hands on this device and like you, I'm disappointed at it. I just finished watching your two reviews of the device, and I waited to have my own review completed (the blog written but not uploaded yet, and the review video is not up yet.) I'm glad I held onto this as I didn't want to be influenced by others. But we came to the same conclusions. This massager is a big disappointment, and Hyperice won't like my unboxing live stream on it, I'm sure. They won't like my review when it's up too either 😂. Like you I love my messages rough and the stall force on the Hypervolt GO is just a joke. 😩 Thank you so much for your videos and all that you do! 😃
I’ve been ready to purchase this once it hit stores. Now I’m not so sure. I plan on using it on the golf course to stay loose. It recently got a exclusive contract with the PGA tour for use by the players while playing. I’m worried about the noise and the stall force in this video.
I'm aware of the PGA Tour partnership, which is exciting. From what I've seen they've mostly been using the normal size Hypervolt to activate that partnership.
I think he just didn’t have it charged all the way in this review. That yellow ring means it’s low battery, it should be green when it has a sufficient charge. Just got mine and the stalling is definitely not that bad
I have the hypervolt plus but I’m not sure how much pressure to put when taking out and inserting the attachments. It’s an expensive device and I don’t wanna break it. Any advice would be great thanks! Keep up the good work
Glad you realized that you got a defective one! I almost didn't purchase my GO based on your review! But, had so many colleagues loving it, figured I return it if I had the same poor results as you. I think it's fantastic! Low noise and powerful. Couldn't make it brake but I tried. Look forward to your updated review 😉
@@BestMassageTech thank you !!! I bought one for my son today . Hope he won’t finds out about the noise . Thank you for your review. I should watched the video before I bought it not after😜
I actually just bought a new one yesterday from Best Buy but have not opened it. I’m currently traveling for the holidays so won’t get a chance to open it for about 2 weeks.
@@BestMassageTech Just ordered one to test it out myself! Let's compare notes haha. I was debating between this and Theragun prime, but the portability of this for travel is really a gamechanger
@@jackdevine1285 yes! So far I would actually choose the Theragun mini over the Hypervolt GO if portability is your focus. Will share more once I check out the new device I got.
@@BestMassageTech that’s good to know, I’ll consider it if the Go doesn’t do it for me. How do they compare to the TGun prime in your opinion? I’m a noob to these but am very excited to have something other than a foam roller for my constantly sore runners legs
