I really like the light lol :) I think that there are some really cool features on this mic especially the light. The tap to mute is a feature I never thought of before but it now seems like a seamless thing to do. Thumbs up, great video and the picture image looks awesome! 👍👍👍
That HyperX sounds great. Much better than the Blue Yeti. I recently bought the QuadCast S and I've never had a microphone sound that nice. I hook mine up to a Samsung Galaxy S22 and everything is crystal clear. I do not regret that purchase at all. I know you must hook it up to a windows PC to change the colors, but once you save it, it is saved on the mic. Those colors stay until you hook it up to a pc again and change them.

Blue Yeti has Stereo mode to record instruments but it looks huge and uses micro USB. Why HyperX, why you didn't fix this bad bass thing in Duocast that already exists in Quadcast for years : \
I could hear better audio compared to the Blue Yeti. When you mounted it on the boom, spoke closer and had the plosive screen in front there was clearly more base in your voice coming through. 🙂 In answer to your questions 👍
Hey awesome video. I have a new Duocast, and my problems are more with the settings and the software side of stuff rather than the mic itself. It sounds really good, I want to know what your gain is? Do you have any extra programs, or did you change anything in OBS? Thanks.
your mic doesnt pick any background noise, or did you put a filter for this video? I just got a duocast, and picks sounds from my kitchen which its like 5 meters away.
There's no filters on the recording. Turn the gain on the mic down and get up closer to it and you should be all good. Make sure your microphone isn't facing the same direction as external noise sources. My room is pretty quiet.
Hi, great review! Question: I'm using a USB amp for my PS5. If I connect the Duocast to my computer with USB and connect the Duocast from it's headphone jack to my amp (PS5) can it transfer sound to both my PC and PS5 at the same time?
I have the microphone but I dont know how does yours sound this great from that distance, I have to use it close to my mouth with lower gain but from that distance that you use it on 100 gain it sounds horrible
The Quadcast is generally more expensive but it has more polar patters and more LED lights. If that's not something you need or use, the Duocast is a good buy. For the same price, I'd get the Quadcast.
If you will only use Cardioid mode I recommend the Duocast since it has better recording quality (24bits/96kHz vs 16bits/48kHz of the Quadcast). And the Quadcast red uses micro USB.
