It’s fascinating to me how creation sometimes evolves seamlessly. Taking a step back to witness our own process is quite interesting. By committing to our art over a long period of time & practicing a lot, it’s amazing to see how one thing can lead to the next, one small iteration after another. Using what we learn when creating indoors & applying it outdoors, or vice versa, makes this process endlessly evolutive & exciting.
What we did for the first time on these nights in the White Sands influenced the way we’ve been creating since then, while remaining connected to our overall journey. Implies in the workflow, are the longer moments of stillness during which the light is moving in my peripheral vision; The acute attention and focus from each one of us as well as the state it induces. The process as well as the final pieces are hypnotic.
We’ve been using this technique for many months now, and we're curious to see how it will evolve…

I am loving these time lapses. And Oh, my Goodness! The one with the moon and planets is absolutely hypnotic.

Always fascinated by the work you both produce. I’m not sure if this has been asked before but how do you hear the shutter opening while you are far away from the camera? This is always my issue cuz most of the time i don't here the camera so i end up putting the camera closer which sometimes isn't ideal. sSpecially when i want to capture more of the environment.

Do you have an intervelometer? for the shutter? If not you'll need one , ok.

thanks! Back in the DSLR days, I could hear the shutter in most cases. But now, with these mirrorless cameras AND the flipping monitor, I simply keep an eye on the camera and I know that the shot is getting taken 😆😆

@@Ericpare I do the same.I’d watch the light in front of the camera then hide when it stops blinking 😂
