Travis Kraft OMG!! NOT YOU AGAIN?? It's pretty obvious that they are experts in their field and posing a female model and if they were posing a male it would be different LOL. As a male model you have lots to learn if you can comment like this. I'm not arguing with you, I just thought that your comment was weird coming from a male model... LOL I have watch many of your videos on your channel most of them are very good but you spoil some of them with irritating videos
I am not photographer, but I can listen to both of them speak all day! There's speaking style actually pulled me into us and everything they were saying :-)
Lindsey, let me add one more thing... In the past couple of years I have had 4 friends get into photography and I have helped them out loaning bodies, lenses, lighting equipment and so forth. I was hoping I could get one or two to work for me in-house and allow them to still do their own thing. Yet I have watch all four become victims to the industry and the social conditioning of photography community. But let me share about the one specifically. I met with her and she has a ton of spunk, drive and ambition. She really wants to be a great photographer. I won't and don't knock her for being a Canon shooter... LOL But she got a Sigma 16-24mm used at $450 and got her hooked up to do real estate photography, which I also do. If I linked her Facebook page, you would see she is a faithful Sue Bryce follower. I really though she was going to make it. But guess what she started doing??? Yep, portraits! She found a great commercial building for $1200 a month and I met with her to go look at it. Yeah it was do-able! The only problem was that it was in a high crime rate area! One I used to reside in and why I moved! She posted on her pages in hopes of finding another photog to share the space with and that bombed. Shortly after, everytime I would talk to her it was Sue Bryce this and that and I'm like good lord! Find your own style and passion in photography! Like so many others she began posting her work on social media which was so-so. Then like so many others, she began seeking TF shoots where like most (AND SUE) you never show any unedited images, you pick the ones you like, edited them the way you like, then give the model 5 edited images for their time with your watermarks plastered all over the image and right in the center, don't credit the model... and then start engaging in exploitation of models! She got 12 models to shoot TF and used those image to create a calendar for commercial sale. Stop there and read the book The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D . Wattles... the last part of Chapter 5 and the first pages of Chapter 6: "You do not have to take anything away from any one. You do not have to drive sharp bargains. You do not have to cheat, or to take advantage. You do not need to let any man work for you for less than he earns." Reread that last line above and think about the industry standard of TF shoots. If you read Ohio Consumer Law, "Ohio Revised Code 1345.03 Unconscionable consumer sales acts or practices, including but not limited to, (A)(B)(2)(5) "Whether the supplier ('photographer")required the consumer ("model") to enter into a consumer transaction ("TF shoot") on terms the supplier ('photographer") knew were substantially one-sided in favor of the supplier (photographer");" Now tell me... you are a photog, you take a hundred or two hundred images in a TF shoot, that you have the model sign a model release and you give them 5 to 25 images. Is that not a one-sided contract in favor of the supplier... the photographer? You bet, especially when you turn around and use those image in a commercial way to promote yourself and make money that you do not share with the model!
When I lived in Montreal for 1 1/2 years I had a French Canadian girlfriend who didn't know much English until she went to Ireland as an exchange student. Talk about an accent!
