i work in a car factory. it would be awesome if this was the vibe! actually they never turn the lights off, so even early mornings and evenings don't feel that dark and as soon as the line starts moving the radio jumps on and we have music, which sadly doesn't sound like this. i'm never the first person there, so there's usually already some coworkers around smoking and talking. it's honestly more of an "another day, another dollar" atmosphere. we actually get far more than a dollar, they pay is pretty good.
I work in a factory that allows me to listen to music through my earbuds. I like to imagine that if I pause my music and wait long enough then this would slowly start to kick in
Sounds and music like this remind me a lot of games like Half-Life and its sequels, especially Half-Life 2 and its parts 1 and 2... that oppressive, polluted, destroyed, guarded, intimidating, mysterious, dangerous but tragicomic environment and ironically at the same time beautiful, inspiring, captivating, magical, absorbing, enveloping... it is the same planet Earth... but its general conditions are not the same as the ones you left behind.
@@asterlofts1565 Yes, And i don't mean that Half-Life kind of world is any kind of beautiful situation to be but if a track what i have done, building up that kind of visions.....then i have succeeded and that's beautiful🙂👍 Thank you very much🙏
@@asterlofts1565 I have to admit I don't know that game. Aaaand sorry for the late reply, at the moment i have somekind of summer rush and surprising amount of things is going on so everything happens a little bit late😀✌️
Anyone who's played Mindustry or Lethal company, this is exactly what it feels like when the fun and games are over and the barren, empty, mechanical aesthetic really gets to you.
So glad I got recommended your work. I'm blown away that you've been posting for three years and remain so underrated, you can count me in your subscribers now!
I grew up near a refinery I always stared at the flare stacks from afar. Whenever we would pass by. As I got older I realized I couldn't stand looking at it anymore. Perhaps it is for the best...
This particular chimney has actually haunted my life for over 30 years and in the near future i have noticed how much deeper impact it has on my life .... actually i'm looking forward to it getting down one day😂
I run a TTRPG campaign that is set in a distant future where an age of technical revolution came and went, leaving only ruins of it behind, and it has been SO FRUSTRATING looking for music to fit that ultra specific vibe. But at last, I have found my way here
It seems this one video of yours blew up, and I'm glad it did. Now that I've found you, I've listened to some other works of yours, and they're GREAT. Earned a sub 💀
I never thought that any of these tracks gets so many views than this....but this is only positive i think😃👍 I decided to leave all my works here, because it's nice to see myself how i'm progress....and at some point I have a plan to clean up some of my works a bit and put together a whole album and maybe pick the most listened to and something new there too. Anyway....Thank you very much for your comment....i'm very happy that you like it🤘🙏🙏
Can imagine this playing at the candle factory in Mayfield before it was LEVELED by an EF4 (borderline EF5) tornado along with the rest of mayfield and several other towns along its 165 mile long path of destruction. Can also imagine this playing right as the bridge creek moore tornado was approaching those unsuspected houses that were soon to be bare slabs where families once thrived.
i never realised there was a niche community of 'people that have the sound of pure dread constantly playing in their heads' but i've never felt more welcome in my life
There are others, engine startup and idle sounds. Electroc motor startup with inertial load sounds. Tons of niche communities much more specific than this. I'm an engineer so I'm into that kind of stuff.
Freaking love this kind of music, dark ambience with the noise of complex machines and industrial hazards. The whistling of bells and steam pipes bursting. Clanging of metal and the feeling of danger.
Holy frick.... I've actually been searching for years songs like these.... The vibes that they desprend are dark yet, somewhat nostalgic and make you remember those intensely dark videogames from the xbox, though at the same time remind you of the evil greediness that exists on this planet, and it makes you want to do something about it. It's music like this that awakens something within you. Thank you for this absolute masterpiece👏❤️🙌
@@bennnoboyo5238 damn yea u made me remember that game. You can really appreciate the ambience of that world as it's own truth and logic, and once you free those slaves of the imperialist corporations, it really feels like you did something that helped progress it's world. That feeling is the feeling that I think many of us look for in our lives, maybe we all do commonly, so it's like we want to explore and live in that planet to experience that for ourselves. Odd, isn't it?
Love it. Portrays very well through music what beeing in a factory would feel like. Where I was to learn what it is to be a machinist. There was no music because of some people. And this music pretty much illustrate what beeing in a factory would be like. The continuous music in the background would be the reprensatation of the pneumatic machines that are constantly working to provide compressed air. On the other hand, the sound of machines and drawers, tools and metal knocking's sound shows the almost never usualness of the factory environement. Thank you again. Looking forward to have more of this.
Thank you very much for the wonderful comment and it's nice that you like it. Welcome to the journey....I hope that in the future I can also offer something nice to listen to🙏🙂🤘
May I use this in a tornado video (with credit of course)? No idea why, but this seems like something you would hear while driving on a county highway at night in the middle of a forest.
Sounds like gigantic, monolithic abbatoir complex from early XX century. 65,000 workers, 2 gigantic boiler rooms with own power plants, 7 stories high and 90 deep, at least officially. Massive rail connection brings livestock form half of the country, producing milions of tons of cheap, low quality meat, leather and glue. And no concern for workplace safety or ethics.
This is definitely one of my favourite dark ambient tracks I've heard. Combined with the background image it's so moody and experimental, it's hard for me not to become addicted to it!! Great job, I'm looking forward to hearing more from you in the future!
even though i discovered this from tornado videos, this actually goes really well with most things disaster-related! zombies, volcanoes, nuclear fallout, etc.
Amazing stuff! Reminds me of the "First Reformed" soundtrack by Lustmord (and the one for Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl as well) Any chance you got inspired by it?
I appreciate your words a lot, thank you very much🙏 ..... Lustmord is a bit familiar but those aren't .... that doesn't mean I wouldn't have heard them though😃 .... Fantastic artist by the way👍
I myself have also lived near an industrial area and when I was a child we often explored those places and in later life somehow it was natural to go to work in industry👌....unfortunately this area in question is starting to get smaller these days. Thank you for your comment my friend👍😀🤘
This is wonderful. I can't wait to hear more of your work. I am curious as to where the field recordings were made. What type of factory is it? What are the percussive sounds? Anyway, the work is wonderful, thanks for sharing it!
Sorry for late answer but at the moment i'm on bed....a little fever and stomach problems knocked me down, we call it noro virus here and i've been running between bed and toilet...lol😂 I can't remember everything correctly so when i get better i check more information 👍 Thank you for you're comment🙏🤘
@@telantas Breakfast stays in 😁 .... Shortly, It has a total of 5 tracks. Two tracks contain background sounds from food factory packaging machines. One with no effects at a lower volume and another one at a higher volume with a Valhalla shimmer. 3 of tracks include tweaked sounds from a mini v3 vst synthesizer and a Valhalla shimmer. All mixed together. No other percussion but machines😃
@@hypnoxygen Your welcome! I know some that could use this as a background, would it be okay for them to use it as long as they credit you? One of them is very honest and will try her hardest to credit the one on where she got the soundtrack.
Simply put, this is such a good piece of work. I was searching endlessly to find something that sounded exactly like this and one day this just popped up on my timeline. I'm making another short film and I am trying to find a similar piece of music, and I just cant find anything like this one. In regards to the rest of your music, I think this one might be your masterpiece so far. It truly is amazing. I have a suggestion-- I am making a short film about a depressed and hopeless young man. The film is a representation of his last journal entry the day before he shoots up a school. Pretty much its a cinematic day in the life of a young man in a crippling society where crime, hunger, and evil has taken over. I'd really like to hear what you can come up with given these details, considering that it is inspired by the sound of Machinata. Hopefully you take my suggestion into consideration :)
Thank you for nice words🙏😁 The idea is fantastic. The subject of the film very fragile and sensitive but yeah, i would love to try something but can't promise anything. I can use some of the same sounds as in Machinata and develop something out of it. What kind of length ....about...your movie is going to be....i'm getting some idea a little better if knowing that😀.....anyway, takes days before i'm starting something, hard month behind...lol....but yeah,we'll see👍
midnight cape-town, harsh winds and rain in the middle of the machine. The noise is of a drowning sense of fear. Always present, every moment, constant, harsh, cold. Fear.
Well, that sounds interesting. I'm pretty sure it can be used. I made all the sounds and recordings myself, so I think I have the rights. But these days I'm not always sure who owns us😀👍🤘
@@hypnoxygen Well, I'm currently in the planning/writing phase. I searched for inspirational music to write to and found your videos. And this was exactly the vibe I was searching for in this Project. 🔥
@@hypnoxygen The game will be play-able on a platform called Roblox with my extensive knowledge of the LUA game code. If you want I could give you access to a DEMO version of the game determined to release Late August - Late September
@@typhoontoons Absolutely amazing😀....It's great that your project is progressing👌....no need an access code at the moment, i'm bad with mobile size gaming and not much played recently at all aaand I'm afraid to even open my gaming computer....quite a damn update hell there ....lol... but now I know where to look if I get excited ....Thank you😀👍
Nicee😀👍.....I had a pretty easy day today and I had looked at a couple of places where I was supposed to record some sound but too much social chatter due to a quiet day so I forgot to record anything at all....a bit annoying😂
My grandfather worked in a foundry for many years. He died when I was a baby so I never got to ask him about it, but I'm sure these sounds probably were familiar to him.
It's really nice to read your comment and may your grandfather rest in peace and I hope he hears these in the afterlife🙂👌 the foundry mens are pretty tough guys👍🤘 Thank you very much🙏🙂
Thank you very much🙏....I take your comment as a great honor🙂....it may very well be that from the subconscious it forms into my creations because Pink Floyd has always been one of my favorite bands😀👌🤘
@@hypnoxygen It's a sci-fi industrial movement shooter with a lot of emphasis on the story and replayability. I just added burst homing rockets yesterday!
I'm mildly annoyed that I missed my opportunity to comment first, since when I found this on the 23rd I had nothing to say(besides first). Though I did become your 16th subscriber, so it's not all bad. (wish I had something better to say than this)
Your are talented this sets such a eerie atmosphere great work. Im working on a fallout post apocalyptic type video could i use this amazing peice and credit you and recommend your channel. It would mean the world because this fits so well.
@@hypnoxygen Awe :( would you be okay with me using a short section of it in my video though? (5-10secs) while of course crediting you? I'll probably get 100 views lmao. If not then I respect that, thank you for replying!
