I first came across this song in the summer of 2015 when I was going through a really, really rough patch. I used to go for walks at 2 am and sit down on the middle of the empty road and listen to this, and contemplate the point in living. It really got me through that time. Then, I kinda forgot about the song after a while. Tonight, after 5 years, I'm coming back to it, and it breaks my heart in a good way. I can't find this on any streaming platforms and that hurts.
Got me thru Highscool listening thru this I’m 26 now and still listening to Hypomanie, I managed to snag a patch of his album “Calm down, you weren’t set on fire”. An I wear it on my Battle vest every day. It’s a shame he doesn’t make more music, it’s been so long. Too Long.

This is quite what I meant. I'm not saying that there are absolutely no supernatural phenomena - but I consider it as a scientific challenge to find out what's going on instead of blindly follow some tenets which are, as you said, highly contradictory, I totally agree with you.

Ok. It is great piece of music, I enjoy it but... Where is black metal influence in this? I don't want to argue, I know they are "officaly" defined as shoegaze/post black metal - cool. I have listened post rock music a lot and I can't hear any difference between some typical instrumental post rock bands and Hypomanie tracks. Can somebody explain: what is characteristic to post black metal?(PS. I saw some negaive comments, such a "wtf, it is not black metal noobs".I don't want to be one of them)
Łukasz Łasisz let me try to explain, he first started with depressive black metal, then he started moving towards a sound more shoegazing listen the EP, you can hear a combination of sounds black metal, shoegaze, depressive, then in a city in mono, from my perpective is just shoegaze with maybe some post rock and in the next album (calm down) is full shoegaze. sorry for any grammar mistake. i kinda like the evolution of Hypomanie.
In the beginning of mankind, he was the explanation for weather, death and other stuff, mankind couldn't explain to themselves. He just controlled everything, without saying mankind, how that shall live. Then the religious dogmas came and now... now he is a cheap excuse for genocide, hate and oppresion. I still don't know, how any human could be so naive, to believe any book, that's full of impossibilities and contradictions.
