More than half of it is running, they run 8K. Magnus is strong and fit, obviously. But, from what I know, he’s not any kind of distance runner.

In 2019 in Miami Beach I asked the founders if they drug tested or planned on drug testing. The answer was no. IMO if people want to use, that’s up to them and their moral compass. As a business model, testing becomes very difficult, and anyone with decent knowledge can use things that clear the system pretty fast. The NBA doesn’t really test, the NFL doesn’t really test - but we still enjoy the show. Personally, I love the Hyrox show and the development that’s happened in the sport.

Hyrox is not going to commit to drug testing as they are still in their infancy. They need to grow their brand which means utilizing podium athletes to their fullest to expedite this process.
