Okay, how did Kohga rise from being a minor side villain who's largely ignoreable and dies shortly after an easy boss battle to by far the best character in this entire game? The man has a fantastic voice, his manerisms are on point, and he was genuinely funny.

Can I just say how much I love calamity ganons design its like a mix of calamity ganon from the original, the blights, demise and magoras various forms. It's so cool

Me seeing all these characters in action make me want to see a street fighter game but it's breath of the wild characters

Just finished playing & I thought there were only 7 playable characters but they surprised me with so many great characters

The last game I played a game that have character selection, free play on stages and unlockeables vilains, it was Lego Batman on a PS2

I still think Astor would be pretty cool as a character. If we can play as other characters that rely on Sheikah tech and sorcery, he wouldn't be out of place...

Ah yes, Revali, the Champion that received favoritism when it came to his finisher. Seriously though, I think out of the other 3 champions, Revali's was super clean.

I just unlocked terrako an hour ago Definitely the hardest and longest quest

Don't have the DLC, but the characters I have the most fun with in the base game are (in no particular order): Link (one-handed sword) Impa Mipha Sidon Teba Maz Koshia Kohga Rhoam Out of all of these, my top three are Rhoam, Teba, and Sidon. i know im 2 years late to the party and beat the game like a year ago but i give zero craps whatsoever

aoc is actually a sequel and splits the timeline for the second time except in two the calamity timeline and the tears of the kingdom timeline since terrako traveled to the past and he changed everything time travel is in here so this is a sequel to botw

it's cool to play as calamity ganon but i wish we could play as astor

Ok all the characters were great but I always found myself accidentally gravitating to Link the most because his weapon was the strongest and he was the easiest to use, but eventually I got used to using Zelda and Impa. I still struggle with other characters just because they’re attacks are hard to use or they’re weak and die easily.

Teba is one of the best characters because he can get your special attack meter charge with a SNAP

Calamity Gannon was not expected

I can't help but feel that LoZ gets more love, attention and quality then FE. Not a single character feels like a clone in either Hyrule Warriors but FE Warriors was nothing but clones.

I'll be honest. The ONLY characters I wqs expecting were: Link (obviously), Impa (from the trailer), Zelda (again, obviously), The Four Champions (need I say it again?), and Rhoam (because that's what they do. When I first saw Hestu as a playable character, I was very happy. When the four champions from the future (Sidon, Teba, Riju, and Yunobo) showed up, I had an anuerism. When Master Kohga became playable, I was confused (because the cutscene explains NOTHING). When A GREAT FAIRY was available, my brain short-circuited. Monk Maz Koshia is ok, since basically nothing was known about him. Egg Guardian being a fighter has made me the happiest person. CALAMITY GANON AS A FIGHTER IS CRAZY. I hope the DLC is great

Sooga is also one of the playable characters... And so is the duo Robbie and Purah.

This game is so underrated, only because it's a Musou. Sadly...
