Please create a video on resilience as hystrix is not working in my sts now. I think because it is deprecated. Also if you can make a video on 'API Gateway' it will be very useful.
Hi Code Decode team please cover resilience4J with eureka client server configuration along with a API gateway as Hystrix has already reached End of life and resilience4j is going to be used for the new microservice projects.
Very nicely explained , in Hystrix if one of the API fails the data which we fetched earlier cant we reused in fallback method instead of recollecting it

Your videos are great. In this video hystrix circuit breaker didn't work for me. I have implemented the code but it's still showing 500 internal error and throwing as citizen instance is missing. Please advice if any.
For each microservices , we had to provide fallback methods as every microservice will be comunicating with some other microservice. This seems boiler plate code.How we can solve this?
I have small doubt.... you didn't configured vaccination MS and citizenMS to the EurekaMS, eventhough how it will knows and how eureka was worked littlebit confused
Hi I have added the same dependency but not able to find @EnableCircuitBreaker annotation. Found @EnableHystrix annotation and added. But fall back method is not working for me can you please help
Thanks for this demo...just one doubt when it goes to fallback method its again calling database to get vaccination center details which has been already called in method where we found this issue. can you pls just explain how can we overcome that...as there could be more objects also which remain initialized but not used actually.
what if we had one rest API is calling morethan 2 microservices if they failed ?. how can we handle in that situations can you please do a video on that and Thank you for the valuable info
Fabulous explanation.. Will circuit breaker close upon particular service is up again? Or circuit breaker will open and close upon every request until particular service is up again ?
