Why i choose Punch over Exter. I work in city and rural areas. 1) exter's front bumper can touch ground or stones on bad roads. 2) very soft suspension can causes bumpy ride on bad rod in fast speed. ( I have to rush to hospital some time ) 3) exter's back seat gives you experience that you sat very low as compared to punch. 4) exter gives you less mileage than punch.. Feature wise Exter is good. But I have to reject it because of point number 1 and point number 3.
after watching your video multiple time.. finally i bought exter..thanks v3cars....& a suggestion for your website, it needs to be more handy(in comparing section) 😊
Spend 1 lakh on a good driving school & learn to be a better driver then. It is stupidity to buy a car basis of how it will perform in its last few microseconds before being destroyed in a crash. You are paying 2 lakh extra for a feature which will never even be used during the lifetime of the car if you're a good driver. All these crash tests are done in controlled environments at speeds of 60-80 kmph so the cars are designed to pass these tests. If any of these controlled variables change in real life, one can't predict how the car will behave. for e.g. if the passengers sitting in the back seat don't wear seat belts (which I have not seen anyone in India ever wearing), during a crash their bodies will fly forward & crash into the windshield or front seats & kill everyone. The cars are not designed to save front passengers from flying bodies coming from the back during a frontal impact.
@@omcena you're not very smart, are you? I said flying passenger bodies from the back often kill even the driver who's wearing a seat belt and has air bags because the 5* rating only works if everyone in the car is wearing seat belts. Guess bad drivers like you can only hope that your car keeps you safe because your driving skills are crap. Also, the Punch is rated 5* as per old standards. As per the new GNCAP standard, 6 air bags are necessary for 5* rating. The Punch you're driving only comes with 2 air bags which makes it a 3* car as per the latest standard. The Exter comes with 6 air bags standard btw.
Tata Punch's biggest disadvantage is their crap After Sales Service which in itself will create at least a 1 lakh difference in value between both cars. I have heard so many experiences of Tata customers where Tata Service Centers damaged their new cars during the 1st free service. Good new cars start having problems after the 1st servicing at a Tata Service Center.
What about suspension , ride and handling , build quality?? Doesn’t make any sense of cost … add these parameters too otherwise this is incomplete comparison
Agree…real life use parameters ko bhi consider karma chahiye, these aspects u mentioned have not been covered…I guess the anchor set a ground rule to compare basis cost of ownership & value but in end real-time functioning aspects ko miss kar diya
Hi Author, Please guide me in AMT which is best Punch or Exter. I don’t require sunroof but I require keyless and other decent features. My budget is 10Lakhs
V3 Cars team always create usually video.. thank you In constant of both Car Tata punch has added advantage of Safety rating.which gives upper hand in market no doubt top selling car in India 😊
@@12345ashoo It's the matter of the platform on which the car has been made. Punch's platform secured five stars. Moreover, Exter is based on Grand i10 Nios platform which secured two stars few years ago.
Aadarsh explain on what grounds punch got 5 star…don’t just go by NCAP, creta bhi 2 star hai jo punch se zyada strong build hai…or uska i10ke platform, se koi lena jai😊, inform urself more…just a friendly suggestion
@@karan8015yes, dab jata hai, iska solution sirf ₹1000 ke ek rubber cap,se ho jata hai jo suspension ko hard ke deta hai Also, jab car dabti hai tou tyre sirf hood ke Andre jata hai jiska disadvantage tab hai jab alloy wheel lagaye ho…jo heavy hota hai ₹1000 spend karke suspension pe rubber cap lagwa and its done
Let’s wait for year end or two more quarters to see Exter sales..and then it will be a justified comparison, abhi Exter ko launch hue sirf ek saal hua hai
6 airbags is good when the car structure is strong. You can be safe in punch even with 2 airbags, Exter will not save you in 6 airbags if the steel structure is weak. Bed mattress will protect you from earthquake but if the whole building cracks down mattress is not enough to not save you.

We've rated both the cars objectively, and given you a delta between the value that each of these cars justify. All the subjective stuff, be it safety, ride, handling, etc. (whatever suits whom) -- you can choose whether it's worth the premium you're paying for the lower value car or not.
@@A_n_i_r_b_a_n 5-10 years ago no one looked into safety nd build quality, Suzuki cars give more mileage cause of being light due to poor build quality thin metal.., the money saved used on quality of finishing even if they are hard plastics , they appear good to eye but inside hollow

Still comparing exter n punch? Exter - no SUV look both interior n exterior. But 4cylinder 1.2 Kappa engine is always better than 3 cylinder revotron engine in punch. Punch has good tyre profile and good stability than exter.. Rest are almost same in both... Now buyers need to decide... Nothing to compare no more...
