Raunaq Arora Stop saying this crap 💩.. New polo (which is a segment below & around 7-8lakhs cheaper) is 3 second quicker than the current 1.5CRDI in Verna. Even in its own segment it gets beaten by so called TIN CAN ciaz by 1 freaking second in a drag down...I don’t think it would be able to beat a segment above, Skoda superb which is a whole 5 second faster than 1.5CRDI..

I bought this car after seeing this review and have now used it for a year and a half. I have absolutely zero regrets on this purchase. A peppy engine & compact and affordable. Thanks Faizal for the review. This car model is not in production anymore so those who own it can enjoy

New Hyundai i10 grand nios Turbo is best in segment because it has more leg room at the rear passenger seat, good looking interior, it as more features than the other cars in this segment, more over it has powerful engine, is quiet refined and smooth. The all black interior looks very sporty. It is also the best city car and stable in highways. Overall it is a best performance oriented car. Value for money package. This is my ownership experience sharing with you guys.

Top 3 reason to choose Polo Tsi over any other mass market turbo hatchback (as a enthusiast I will tell u) 1. Best aftermarket performance parts support and lots of tuners have rempas for 1.0l TSI motor. 2. Elegant looks, yes most people will not agree with me they will say this design is now too old. But still most true enthusiast like this design also. 3. You are getting a german reliability with Polo TSI (especially manual one). Unless engine check light pops up 😬, but that can be sorted out.

high maintenance and poor after sales compared to hyundai makes this a better buy for a common person who wants a peace of mind car with more power... (I'm not accusing polo as an unreliable car, but the stories i hear about the service centers does not give me a peace of mind)

@@shravansp24 Yes, but I talked with few Polo owners. They opined, services are expensive but you will really enjoy the drive. All the VW features mentioned here are actually useful on road rather than features like digital speedo, wireless charging, bigger touchscreen etc. And on road price difference is not more than 40K.

I will prefer Ford Figo over the Grand i10 Nios due to better handling, better performance from the 1.5 L TDCi Diesel engine which does hit the ton in under 10 Seconds and is more safer than Nios.🔥🔥🔥

The sad sad truth about smaller engines with a turbo: well, the fuel economy is the primary focus on indian market. So there are no V6/V8 or at least a straight 6 at all(domestic cars). So better fuel economy is already attained by having sub 2 litre engines. Now the question is how do we extract the max power out of smaller engine??? Put a turbo charger.. sounds simple.. but the bigger picture is putting a turbo on to a smaller engine strains the engine due to small displacement : higher compression. Final drawback? Yes, it affects the on the long term, engines doesn't last long, you can hardly drive past 100,000 kms as everything in the engine wears out due to pressure it's been taking by the turbo. Hence, foreign markets have bigger engines for performance and they hardly make smaller engines and put a turbo for performance... Mostly because of which the motors are still drivable past 200,000 kms with timely maintenance... Agree?

true,according to me turbo is efficent only for 1500cc+ 4 cylinder engines but for a car like this it will put stress on engine.

Definitely Polo TSi for more driver oriented focus geometry but Nios itself makes for an extremely potent combo. Those who donot want the usual VW headaches, higher maintenance, need a family friendly warm hatch with modern touches & excellent Hyundai after sales service, Nios Turbo it is!! Heart says Polo TSi, head says Nios Turbo. Either way it is a win win situation.

No, Nexon XE is the cheapest petrol turbo car in the Country. Infact, with dealer discounts Polo TSi is the best bang for buck at this price.

Those headlights are bi beam projectors ? How many cars in the segment offer such a set up ! A suggestion on this, can you comment on the headlight effectiveness and the type of headlight used on each car. And even a quick clipping of a night ride when you say the same. Ex: Baleno used Bi beam LED projector but are almost useless in rains. Infact one can't change the bulb in the projectors of the baleno coz it has a matrix style arrangement inside the lens. All though the fog lamps are regular halogens.
