Totally unprofessional work, the car may caught fire, because how they are messing with electrical components, their tools are WW-II era, no scratch protection mats and masking tapes are applied. I never recommend this kind of work on my car. That is why I prefer the Authorized Service Centers, they do very good and professional work, without any single scratch, without messing with the wiring, electrical etc. costs Rs. 1,200 as labor cost, which is worth.
As I can see engineer is removing entire dashboard, what is the guarantee that he will place all the things neatly in place once he puts back everything after coil replacement. As its a complex assembly.

How will we know the cooling coil is leaking without removing the entire dashboard? i just want to make sure there is a leak in cooling coil before replacing coil?
A fresh paint/rubber glove smell from vents when you turn the blower on is a possible sign, that's the smell of PAG oil which always leaks together with the refrigerant (i have a bottle of PAG among my stuff and the oil inside smells exactly like that). Also, if you have an access hatch somewhere on the evaporator box, that lets you see the coil (alternatively, try removing the blower fan and check if you can see the coil from there), you can also try to shine an UV light on the coil and check for anything glowing, provided that UV dye is in the system (undyed PAG oil doesn't glow under UV). Lastly you can look for the condensate drain and shine an UV light at it too and look for anything that glows or seems oily. Also, professionals are equipped with electronic refrigerant leak detectors.
