Hi Scott, thanks for this. I just bought one today. For some reason my interior lights aren't lighting up e.g lights for the buttons on the multi media board, no lights coming up for the steering wheel during night. Any idea how to turn those on?
Eu rules stated that all cars in 2011 come with automatic daytime running lights DRl so all hyundai have that feature helps motorbikes see cars better in all weather conditions Daytime running lights (DRL) are purpose-made, low-wattage lights that can be fitted to a vehicle and used during the day to improve the visibility of a vehicle to other drivers as well as pedestrians, cyclists and other road users. They do not need to be operated manually as they automatically activate when the engine is started and turn off when the engine stops or when headlights are switched on at night. DRL are necessarily bright to ensure they are visible in the daytime but not so bright that they will dazzle others. However they are too bright for night time use and are not intended to illuminate the road in the dark. If used at night they will cause dazzle and discomfort to others and so drivers should always switch to their position lamps or headlamps at night. Evidence Research has shown that DRLs are likely to reduce multiple vehicle daytime accidents and fatalities by up to 6% once all vehicles are equipped. DRL are likely to result in a small increase in fuel consumption and CO² emissions of around 0.5% but this is expected to be lower when LEDs are used in place of filament light sources.
My i20 went to oil change, they prolly disconnected the battery and now I have no trip meter on display unless I cycle to it. The manual is just plain confusing sending you back and forth without providing answer or page numbers. When we bought the car it had trip A and B onscreen always. We want that feature back.
@@scottwenn I have the 1.2 84 HP and it comes with a 5 speed box, it would do even better gas mileage (averaging 54mpg now). with that 6th gear, cruising at 110/kmh the revs hit 3000rpm, but the engine has enough pull to drop the revs to 2500rpm with not torque issues if it would come with the 6 gearbox. Pity that Hyundai did not design all of the with a 6 speed box.
