I think the reason the i20N is so appealing is because it's reminiscent of the old school hot hatches. Think of icons like the 106 GTi, Mk1 Golf GTI and EK9 Civic Type R amongst other examples. They didn't have face-melting performance like today's super hatches (FL5 CTR, RS3, A45 AMG), but they made up for that "shortcoming" with simple, pure driving pleasure - the ability to wring it out on a back road without risking your life or your license. The old cars did that well, and I'm sure one day we'll look back on the i20N with the same fondness.

The 'bottle of water' obsession. F off, we never had this issue x amount of years ago, we never lugged these things around with us before. An obsession adopted from the US, their weather is VERY different from ours.
