Thank you very much for that! I think I have the opposite problem. As soon as there is a load on the motor, the damn machine stalls. As I have had similar problems with a quad and strimmer in the past, I replaced the spark plug but no joy. Tweaked a mixture screw too but that did nothing. I shall examine the governor spring which I assume tweaks the airflow through the carb.
hi there video my problem is when you i pool the throttle it doesn't rev up but could do with a better look behind the plate so i can get the jist of were all the bits go the cable and the springs ive just got this free it has been stored in damp shed its a bit rusty and the petrol in it had gone right off so would not start so put petrol in it to flush it all out but still didnt work but i got told years ago is to try some 2 stroke in it and tried to run it and it went and started first couple of pulls its done a good job with a peace of string
