99.99% of people would just build these models as intended and be proud of it but the amount of extra fabrication and attention to detail and quality that you add is incredible. You’re an artist.
your scribing is fearless, use of tweezers breathless. I thought i almost saw you drop a piece but it was an illusion. I can only assume you're building a model of a car you once owned as the level of details are mind boggling.
Curb-side to full detail? Really cool. Opening & hinging doors & Hood? Stuff of IPMS Best of Show dreams. But, scratch building a convincing motor from pictures is way over the top! You are very good, Sir

Normal Modeller: There's no aftermarket kit for the engine for this model. Guess it's a hood-down only model for me. A4 Garage: No aftermarket engine kit... Looks like I'm scratch building an engine again.
I wonder if you could detail out a bit on how you do the door hinge on your next build. I would really like to see it. Also hinges on the bonnet. The opening and closing of doors is simply stunning. Your detail work is just simply marvelous and a wonder to watch.
Door hinges are different for each vehicle and difficult to position, so there are many failures and attempts to make each time. It seems like the way to do it is to adjust it little by little and adjust it a lot. Thank you.
