I own the updated 2015 4WD model.. it's just so amazing.. and this cars feels so premium still in 2020.. it feels sad it didn't sell well here in india..

I own a diesel 4wheel drive automatic sante fe it's an amazing car for long drives, I did a tour from HYDERABAD-SHIRIDI-GOA-HYDERABAD and I had no back pain,no body pain.

Hyunadi 3rd gear is awesome . Whenever you shift into 3rd the car feels so powerful. 😅

The reason behind low sales of this car was lack of marketing. I remember seeing this car for the first time in delhi and didn't even know it existed. Same with Tucson. Great cars but bad marketing.

It's old. But, one of the best car from Hyundai... I like it... 😊

I own a SantaFe 2012 model 4 WD Automatic . The manual version and automatic have lot of differences and I had test driven both of them before I purchased a used SantaFe made in 2012 ( bought) in the year 2021 . A 9 year old SantaFe I purchased and had driven it all the way to Somanath in Gujarat and Back covering about 3700 km in about 6 days. Engine did not give any problem , car is super comfortable with leather seats , AC works extremely well with its own radiator and as reviewed engine's sound is hardly heard and mine also has sports exhaust. There is some thing about SantaFe which is addictive. It has super smooth suspension which gives a feeling of sitting on a butterfly or on an air bubble or on the back of a flying bird.. I thought that Mr.Faisal Khan would say that but he did not point out that. I believe that even the suspension on manual SantaFe is a bit different. After test drive of manual model of santaFe I decided not to buy but a few days later test drive of a very dirtily maintained 9 year old automatic changed all that. It is only an urban SUV and maintenance is very costly. I had to pay for new tires Continental ( Rs.82000/=) driveshaft ( 35,000/=) , steering new rack ( 65000/= ) engine mounts ( 15000/=) servicing ( Rs.18000/=) One front shock absorber ( Rs.25000/= ) and 3M cleaning ( Rs.10,500/= ) all of total of Rs.2,51,000=00 before I embarked on my long journey. You don't get tired and there is no body roll in it unless a drive shaft or engine mounts gone caput. It is stable at 135 kmph without any rattle ,vibrations etc., and controlling the vehicle is damn easy. It can turn on NH even at 110 kmph and I never reduced its speed to turn on NH ways. The question of overtaking plans do not exist. The BHP of 194 ( 197 P.S. ) is more than enough. It is low to pickup speed for a little time after start. It is better you use accelerator linearly because it is not a racing car but only an SUV.
