As a 60 yr old woman I too want to Thank you. I watched 6 videos before this, when you said to turn the bulb "clockwise" to get it out, I realized that's what I was doing wrong. I have never in my life changed a car bulb. Untill today, June 5th 2024. Thankyou so so much! As a single mother of two little ones it is so rewarding and non expensive to be able to do this at home! Thankyou so much!!

Person who knows very little about cars here to say: This is probably the easiest thing that I have ever done concerning my car! Thanks so much for your video to help figure it out… It took me about 10 minutes and mostly the difficult part was just getting the notch to slide back in in the right position once I had the new bulb in!
Just replaced both low beam lights in my 2018 Tucson. It took me 15 min. Was very easy! Used surgical gloves to handle the light bulb. Thank you so much for your great video! Greetings from a very chilly Ontario.
Thank you. Mine is a 2017 Tucson. Just changed the bulb successfully. It didn't seem to seat very well when completing in the end. But was in place and began burning as I started the car. The extra bunch of wires you mentioned did seem to be a challenge. But the biggest difficulty was the fact that the hood support was planted right behind the location of the lamp. Thus it made it quite difficult to get in there and work with it. For a relatively inexperienced mechanical worker, I feel victorious in accomplishing this. Thanks so much!
thank you so much. I've been asking my husband for 3 months to fix it. the other one went out too and i was sick in the dark. but, i fixed them myself! you're my hero!
Just an update, I replaced the drivers side low beam light in about 10 minutes. Some of the time was running back & forth, getting scissors, then gloves, then rewatching the video! Thank you a bunch!!! 👍🏻
Great job on the video. I liked that you pointed out the wires blocking the reinsertion of the new light bulb. FWIW - Tinker popped up at 4:44 in the video in the upper left portion of the screen.
Wow, I did it! I am someone who has never been mechanical and done any real meaningful work on my car. I was able to follow your directions and change my headlight bulb! I amazed myself.😂😂 thanks to you for your easy to follow clear directions👍

I've replaced the brake lights on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson a few times, but trying to fix anything else on my car freaks me out lmao I assume I'm just gonna mess somethin up. However, your vid has def given me confidence, its closer than I thought to the process of changing the brake lights, now im pretty confident I'm gonna be able to change my headlight so ty!!
With this video as guidance…. I changed my 2018 Tucson headlight bulb (this exact one) in 5 minutes. At night with a flashlight propped. Thank you for this. Looking forward to trying some of the other tips on this page.

Got the headlight changed. Thanks for showing the light being pulled out. Some other videos didn't show that. I'm not sure how anyone would do this with bigger hands tho. It's not easy to get into that compartment and just turn the light to pop it out. But this video got the job done. Thanks!
Just wanted to say thanks for a great, easy to follow (and understand)video. My dad used to do all of my car maintenance and when he passed away even something as simple as a headlight is a little bit of a triggering for me. Your video made it so easy!
Thanks. Upgraded my wife’s because the stock low beam is weak. Went with the Phillips Crystal Vision and they are a nice upgrade. The clearance is tight but doable.
Thanks for this video. I also changed my bulb in under 10 minutes. I checked the price at autozone it was $18 for 1 bulb or a 2pack for $33. The Amazon price is $14.50 for a 2pk
Found a few videos but they were all for the wrong bulbs finally came across this one and even though I was looking for the i30 this showed me exactly what I was doing wrong, Bulbs both changed in minutes once I'd seen this thanks a lot!
This is the same setup as our 2015 and was actually easier than all the examples I've seen but I really appreciate this demonstration, it saved me a lot of time and money. Thanks to you it's all done!! BTW the blub on ours has the 90 degree connector.

Mine is the driver's side and there is like a box or something in the way (it looks like the size of a battery but I don't think it's the battery). I have tried and tried and tried until I can barely feel my hands and I cannot get the bulb thing to turn even a smidge. I'm sad because I was so excited once I got the cap cover off - I thought it would be a cinch! But now I can't get the bulb to come out, or even turn a tiny bit at all. It just will NOT turn for me. 😞 I am not going to be able to change my headlight bulb.
I have rheumatoid arthritis, and this is proving challenging because of it. But, I’m going to keep trying so long as I can do it without injuring myself.
Thanks! Need to be careful with which orientation you use to place the bulb socket back in the housing though. It will go in two different ways with 180° difference...and the wrong one will put the bulb way out of alignment (headlight will beam at a significant upward angle instead of straight out).
There must be a couple of designs for the low beam bulb assembly. I have a 2016 Tucson, and mine has a sort of clip lock that secures the bulb. I appreciate this video - you explain things well. I wish mine was as simple (I’m a little stuck and can’t get the new bulb locked in).
Whoops! I was in the high beam compartment and not the low beam. Figured it out after this video sat in the back of my mind a bit. Leaving this comment here if for anyone who made the same mistake I did! Also, I figured out that clip. Way easier if you unplug the bulb and don’t have the wires in the way!
The warning signal hasn't gone away yet after replacing the bulbs. Do you know how long can it take or if there's a manual way to reset it? Great video though. I was able to replace them.
Do you have a video on aiming the headlights? I drove my daughters 2018 a few nights ago and the low beam light is pretty bad. I see a few different adjusters under the hood but can’t figure out which one does what
Have done the left side (Viewed from front) and was as your video describes,(Great Video) But the right side is totally different looks like you need to remove more items as there is no way you can get your hand in due to what looks like a fuse box and a plastic trim is Do you have a video of doing the other side
