Hyungchan Um's (엄형찬) first career Single-A home run makes Carolina League history (07/01/2024) 

Kansas City Royals prospect, Hyungchan Um, hit his first career Single-A home run for the Columbia Fireflies. He and his father, Jongsoo Um, has become the first Korean father-son duo to have hit a home run in the Carolina League. Jongsoo Um had played for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans back in 2001.
