So your the expert, huh? Criticizing the circumstances when Patty and Bruce got together -- how he supposedly hurt Julianne and was still married -- what the hell do you know about that relationship and the exact circumstances of the time?? Were you close personal friends of the Phillips clan who knew all the facts? Do you believe Bruce and Julianne had some sort of blissful union which was ruined by Patti?? Both Bruce and Julianne -- and Patti, for that matter -- have refrained from discussing something so personal I suspect because it is not ANYONE's business. What little reliable sources there are regarding that time period and given what Bruce has shared about himself from that time, it is clear compatibility was an issue for them. As far as we can tell, Bruce and Patti seem happy and one thing that has been proven time and time again is people from very similar backgrounds tend to have a higher success rate at marriage -- take a look the RU-vid video interview with Patti, "Married to the Boss" and she mentions their similar backgrounds. Frankly, I am sick of all the judgers online who seem to think their moral compass is so great they are in a position to judge a relationship they know little to nothing about.

And you have to wonder how Patti felt when Bruce was married to Julianne. It could have been Julianne that was the other woman.

Dan Curtis in his book Bruce talks about how he treated her wrong, and she was very devoted to him. He had eyes for Patti. He has regrets on how he handled his marriage and breakup with Juliane. Then for good measure he ran around on Patti with another ginger from the gym. As far as moral compass goes, I’d say if you have been faithful to your wife, you have one up on Bruce. I do love the man though.

@@danc3693 I can well understand why you would want to take Bruce's part - because he is so wonderful and great, but he never feels the urge to come on here and check what people are saying about him (good or bad) and never comments or stands up for "himself" (as you/I would). And maybe this might be because he doesn't give a damn (I'm just guessing). And maybe he might think this site is just a bin and not worth wasting his time with (because he's got bigger fish to fry). Plus, all of those "thousands" of people/devoted fans showing up at his concerts (all over the world, for decades) is by far enough of a message for him - to be bothered about a few bits/pieces of gossip on stupid social sites.
