I would look for a gym that is 24 -7 I was homeless for two years.. I showered there daily. I worked in fast food at that time. Worked mornings and mids.. I went to a Private University I did my homeowrk at the library and at coffee shops. Also worked my job to pay for my student loans and my living expenses. Phone and clothes. Gym. Food ..Ect.. I lived in a tent as well to sleep better. I had a tent and bed inside in an orange grove. I used my car as needed. Luckily I had my car to get from the gym to school and work . Kept my docs in there.. no good but I got my B.S.P. I completely paid off my student loans. paying off my student loans completely. I was in Southern California at the time. I got my B.S.P in Psychology and no student loans at the end ( paid my loans off.) No one but my boss knew I was homeless. Lots of good info, it is different everywhere. @@dottiec7943 I did use the Pell grant and also another grant because I had a good GPA..since Private University was so expensive it did not cover all expenses. I had to pay $30,000 out of pocket. Luckily I used my job to pay for the Loans.
I'm thankful for a job and being able to live alone. I'm an extreme introvert. Having a roommate would destroy my mental health. If I had to, I would try to live in my aunt's house upstairs. She has a huge house and always stays downstairs. I would have done it already if her town wasn't car dependent. I like being able to live a middle class lifestyle by not having car expenses
Been a roommate most of my life. You do have to be flexible and considerate of others. Admit when you are wrong. Learning to share with others goes a long way. Great Vid!
Ymca as well as my family and I were homeless back in 2011 it was the toughest thing God protect us and had our back and family. I wish you the best and God bless.
What you need to do is if you can afford it get a small storage unit that you have daily access to every day. You keep everything in that storage unit and you only take out what you need for that day. Well if you keep your ID and everything in your storage unit you won't worry about that.
Jose you need to walk out there with nothing but what you can carry on your back and live for one week and then maybe you might be able to give a little bit of advice on being homeless You really are not qualified to give advice on being homeless you have seen very little looking through your camera
All that trouble just to take a shower no. What you do is get a membership as long as they don't take your bank account information. You need to be able to take a shower when you need to and there's very few outreach centers for all that I know I'm homeless, we need tiny home communities and designated homeless camp areas. There needs to be safe places that have security so people can sleep and camp secure.
I would burn my birth certificate toss out my ID and become a unknown migrant it may not be the best but a free hotel room withe free everything and a government credit card with free money on it is not a bad way to live it beats the hell out of sleeping on cold sidewalks wondering where your next bean is coming from like the 10s of thousands of other American homeless people are doing in the richest country in the world. that is just my thinking to each his own live and let live.

Buy a van and get an Icy Breeze and a 12v fan you can plug in your cigarette lighter. Remove the middle and back seats and put a mattress back there. Viola .
Being homeless in this heat with mosquitoes everywhere is beyond my comprehension and I feel for anyone in this situation! I have a trawler and when it's this hot there is no way I can anchor out. I wish these people didn't have to go through this.

I used to take naps at the public library. I lived in a college town so it was common for us students to take little naps at the university library. A good way to blend in when you need a safe place to sleep.
Keep your money and drivers license , ss card in your front pocket. You know Dr. says for men not to put a wallet in your back pocket because it will cause back issues .
There has to be a group of at least five or more to petition your local city of to have designated camping areas or tiny home communities on public land and a local outreach center a men's center and separate women's center. Women and children
I have been sheltered homeless for two and a half years ever since I lost my land and 2 homes in Alabama due to COVID. Luckily my family has land on the choctawhatchee river in Florida near beaches. I lost everything car, all belongings etc. I am in a shack that was built from reclaimed wood. I do have solar with two lights, a computer and a/c. The roof is reclaimed metal roofing I don't have framed ceiling I have plastic house wrap as a ceiling so rats suck. But anyway. If you can find public land near a water source for fishing for food. That helpse. Unfortunately I am seriously 8.75 miles from the closest possible employment which they have not needed anyone since I been here. I pick up shiftsmart shifts and get rides from people around here going those directions. I have to plan ahead those tho. But it is what it is. But on public land either state or federal you have 14 days then you must move whatever it is at least 20 feet then your good another 14 days.

Stay clean to avoid the lice Once you sleep on The ground you get lice that turns into scabies!! Much worse. By the way by the way homeless problem if you want to keep clean get the lice hair shampoo but you can put it on your body I was in nursing 7 years you know simple CNA nursing But living in Florida maybe I met a lot of homeless or somebody had it I worked in nursing homes so I came across body lice two or three times I have to tell you so put that the hair lice shampoo it's only $5 and put it all over your body for the 10 minutes and just wash it off and your hair and your clothes just wash them and you should be good yes speaker you do beautiful videos❤❤❤
Free shower tip: go to a college, find a bathroom close to their sports ground or swimming pool, that bathroom usually have lockers and shower inside. Free shower. Afternoon is better , less students are there. Make yourself look presentable when you walk in.
all these small towns, the population is going down, you could get a house real cheap and start over. with what you could make working, and your gril frend gets a check, with that and what you could make working , you can make it easy... and she is elgablle for low income housing, too?
Those aren't real options. Cheap houses in rural areas? Not anymore. I live in a federally funded apartment complex, and a two bedroom is still 1100.00 in a low income state. The average income here is 21,000.00
21:17 truck drivers get free shower passes whenever they buy diesel and most of the time they barely use them so maybe he could ask a trucker if they can give him a free shower.
Wealthy people pay for Home Companion Aides to live with their Dad or Mom on the beach in SW FL too. There are many employment opportunities that sometimes include housing with the elderly population here besides more highly skilled nursing & other Healthcare careers requiring more education.
