I know exactly what you mean about not going out alone without fear of being judged. I got over this when I went to the movies by myself, because no one wanted to see it. After that experience, I realized I was more than capable of doing things by myself. I started going to restaurants and concerts by myself, and I felt so free.
Making friends wasn't easy for me when I was younger but the ones I did make, I still have today. Its easier to make friends now but I don't have the same friendship with them like I do with others
It also takes time for people to be jealous of others and exclude/badmouth them out of a friend circle, despite them being a better friend. Just be careful out there, xiao. Nail that sticks out gets hammered. Either way, good luck.
I’m feeling this way too 😭 so here goes. When I was young I made so much friends and like can socialize really easy but like growing older Im in college now, its pretty challenging because I evolved so much like into self improvement and stuff and the people at my school are like idk what you call peeps that care too much on your financial status or like ur whole status in life in general like girl?? Then like they talk bad about the teachers and literally backstabs people and like I can’t do anything because in our block we are only 12 in class and it’s challenging to find classmates that I resonate with so yeah. They ask me to hangout but like I just know they might be talking abt me behind my back cuz like that’s their place (behind me) #slay HHAHAHHAHA
thanks for making and uploading this video. a lot of the things you mentioned in the beginning are so true and really hard to process for people who actually like working hard and try to simply get through life... its really hard to see that not all people are always supportive and kind, but they rather act jealous and be hostile towards others who have sucess... its basically sabotaging. broke my heart too 😓 thats why its important to find friends who are in your circles...
it is easier to be bitter than to heal and most people will not choose to do the harder thing 🫶 statistically not everyone is fit to be your friend, be strong and be patient for the right people to come :)

tysm 🫶 my parents r buddhist and my bf is christian. I don’t follow religion much but I do believe aspects of both. Personally spirituality to me is “yolo trust the universe will take care of it for me” 😆
tbh it’s different making friends now when u have something people want bc a lot of people just want to be friends w u just to use u so u have to watch out for that …
it’s okay, you don’t need to have standards but we want them. oh, and side note if you stopped being arrogant and actually watched the whole video, which i doubt u did btw, you’d realise that people who have these standards have them because they’ve been hurt before and have found peace within their own solitude and if someone wants a place in their life their energy has to be worth taking time out of solitude for. also not everyone is a positive influence to hang around, im not contaminating my energy with draining people yes im going to “vet” them.
I've been in her situation. Actually, I'm going through it right now. It happens mostly to individuals who are successful in their field/achievers/pretty etc. I learned that people hate to see you improve. It's so heartbreaking seeing people close to me act this way. People I thought my friends and family treat me like that hurts more. Vetting should be applied in friendships. I grew up in a toxic family, I cannot choose my family but I can choose my friends. I wanted to be surrounded with supportive people who uplift each other. But these people are rare because a lot don't really focus on improving but rather envy others and compare. It's actually so dangerous to be with insecure individuals because they will sabotage you and hurt you, just so they can feel superior again. It's actually so sad.
