I found a teapot with a note in the lid saying it was owned by lady who died in 1769! My goodwill was selling it for $2.99. It has some damage, but I couldn’t let it sit there & get even more damaged. I researched her name & found some relatives!!! So far I’ve heard back from one person who didn’t want it. I’m waiting to see if anyone else does. Otherwise, it will live in my curio cabinet.

I think the fact that they got rid of it and donated to Goodwill, already means they don’t want it. I would not contact anyone else. Just keep it and enjoy it. :)

I'm an artist and, thanks to you, I've started being more careful about signing my work. I forget to do it most the time. When I do remember, I usually end up signing with a glorified squiggle. From now on I'll try to do better. I know how you hate it when things aren't signed!

I'm in NC too and have the same thoughts! There is a place in Clemmons, North Carolina that is a consignment shop and they make their sale tags the same way. But it is in no way as big as Finders Keepers.

I remember being 2 weeks overdue and they told me to walk all day. I did and I had her that night. My point is that you walk so much that I can't believe you haven't had her yet. I love your channel and you always find the best thing ( even with boo-boos). Stay safe and get some rest.you will need it.

Next time you’re at this place you should check out that Blue Chef Pierre cookie jar on the top shelf by the donkey oil and vinegar. Those cookie jars are worth good money and the blue is extremely rare 👍

I ate at the Old Holly Hotel on Holly, MI. Their table settings were mixed up, almost like going to Grandma's where the good china was used, whether all the place settings were still there or not. They did have the same silverware at most seats (but not like your neighbor's setting. Lace tablecloths, etc. It was a lot of fun - so

To answer your question Jocelyn, the keyboard instrument is an organ. It is powered by pumping foot pedals attached to bellows, so it is commonly called a “pump organ.”

Those old banks were I believe made of plaster of Paris. They were quite popular in the mid sixties as birthday gifts.

2nd comment- I've been buying any pink glass I find. My ex-husband is a stained glass artist & he recently told me that pink glass is getting much more difficult to find because the ingredient that makes the glass pink, selenium, is imported from Russia, & obviously with the sanctions in place, glass makers are not receiving it.. He said that when he does stumble across a sheet of it somewhere, it is so crazy expensive that he doesn't buy it. Just for what it's worth ☺️...

I am a new subscriber and have been going back through your playlist. I just saw a video from a year ago and you bought a mouse cookie jar and passed on a cookie monster cookie jar from Sesame Street. Depending on which kind of cookie monster jar that was they go for up to$ 60.00 to $150.00 dollars. Everything Like that from Sesame Street they don't make anymore. If you come across something like that again you might want to check how much that style goes for.

The bear is a Zuni-style mini sculpture -not actually a fetish which would usually have a heart-line or medicine bundle - and the stone is called "Picasso marble." They were popular in the late 90s in southwestern gift shops.

It is a pump organ, not a piano but has a large keyboard. Many are made with keyboards only 3/4 size compared to todays pianos . Nice model. Full size keyboard. They have bellows that bring out the sound as you pump with both feet.

The tiles are Art Nouveau. Probably from a backsplash on a washstand, fireplace surround or furniture inset. Very nice.

Really wish we had a Finders Keepers like this in Buffalo. There is a shop with the same name but the prices are unaffordable. Hundreds - thousands of dollars for one item. If I lived near this one I would go nuts. I just purchased the yellow kangaroo planter from your ebay shop yesterday btw! Going to put it in my son's room. My due date is in 8 more weeks so you're further along than I am. Good luck to you!

Hi, I stay at home in my bed watching tv, and you everyday. Can’t wait to see you new baby. The stone bear is Picasso Jasper and I would love to add it to my small collection of SW native art. I only have what I can see these days, so adding this to my shelf will brighten each day. So far I haven’t seen it listed yet. Do you plan to list it? Being 72 and disabled, I find it very hard to get out to shop for myself. Living on SSI only also restricts what I can spend on stuff that’s not housing, food and meds. Not much in ‘extra’ funds. Well, I’ll keep looking at you eBay page and watching you. Take care and keep smiling.

Oh you should have seen my sister pregnant! She’s 5’ so she looked like she was pregnant from her chin to her knees. Plus during the later months, the baby was lying on her sciatic nerve, so her leg felt constantly asleep, so she sort of dragged it like Quasimodo!

I think the piano looking thing is a pump organ. The buttons set the sound I think and you pump with the two pedals on the bottom.

The water colour looks like it’s in Marrakesh market square the front 2 figures are women and the 2 back figures are 2 men wearing the traditional jillabah. The owls are gorgeous, I thought they were felted, I guess they are felted from sweaters

I loved being pregnant it was the delivery that I didn't like. Back then you got a "Saddle Block" the first one worked, the 2nd one didn't, 3rd one was natural.
