The bad part if Zippo. I carried when I smoked would leak in my pocket or run out..the upside ,there were thrifty & quite annoying to others as a fidget item on break

My first zippo was a brass zippo with the single butane insert. When I found out zippo made that I got it. The lighter is a vintage look but modernized. I love it, I don’t smoke but it’s a cool conversation piece. I can’t wait till it patinas. Also I’ve been watching your channel for around 3 weeks and I love it. I got a PF flavorist because of a short I saw. I’m in love with it.

I have the Yellow Soft Flame Inserts which make a normal flame. Love them. No more refilling my zippo everyday.

You can also do the plastic bag trick for regular inserts

I just found 3 of my old zippos. Had been sitting in a change and ammo can for years. I tuned them up and they work perfectly fine, I did see the butane inserts and decided to buy one. It’s on its way. But I still like the old school ones. The smell especially. I may collect a few more now

I have these inserts and they misfire all the time and they are heavy. Personally I think they suck. You can get a metal refillable clipper for like 10 bucks best lighter i ever had

I have a classic zippo, and I carry on my almost daily as a memto. Guess what, it won't leak if you don't overfill it. Now, the evaporation part is because of a shitty seal on the top, which can easily be replaced to keep it from evaporating.

I stopped carrying zippos for that very reason, they are always empty. Especially if you leave it in a hot car.
