Thank you, thank you, thank you!❤ you should have 100,000 subscribers! Your videos are not only interesting and informative, they are beautiful and upbeat!
You are blessed to have the most beautiful orchids outside of a orchid nursery. So many are my favorites but love them all. What is appealing is other plants mixed in with the orchids it makes it look so cosey. Thank you for sharing all those beauties.🌸🌸🌸. Hi Morris 🥰
Thank you Linda. It does feel like a cozy jungle at times. Everything is growing within each other now so it’s closing allot of gaps in the greenhouse. Time to expand! 🤗
We are all so blessed to have your videos and information. It must be very time consuming and your professionalism is much appreciated. Make sure you take regular time off for yourself, family and friends. Keep inspiring!!!
Thank you so much. Indeed it is allot of work. But when I read your comments I’m always inspired to create more content and keep the channel growing. 🙏🏼💚🙏🏼💚🙏🏼

You deserve a rest! Don't apologize. Love seeing your orchids...gives me a hint of the tropics here in (currently) chilly Maine. It was a high of 60 today 🥶 For reference that is cold for June, even here. Keep being you, and growing what you ❤
I live in a bird sanctuary or at least as far as Canada is concerned. The area that we live is protected. We live in the boreal forest. So the area is protected.
Keep it up you are doing a great job 👍 loosing orchids is the way we learn how to grow them it's a hard way to learn but we all go through it . Great blooms and the colours 👌 are Excellent Great job 👏 keep positive and stay healthy Mitch from Australia 🇦🇺

I never get lazy with my orchids. It’s a constant care and attention to details. Orchids are extremely rewarding when cared for and loved. They teach us discipline and patience. 💚

I just so love to see those grey concrete decorated with beautiful orchids. I can sit there for hours just enjoying the surrounding. Thank you for showing us your garden. It's so peaceful.
Wow! I’m blown away. Nice to see that your Den Green Apples is putting on a show again. I think the vanda at 13.07 is a John de Baise x tessalata. They have different colors in pink, purple and burgundy if my memory serves me right. Congrats on your milestone!
Omgosh Nelson you have so many beautiful blooms! I need to find some of of the ones you showed today!!! Thank again for inspiring me to continue my orchid RU-vid journey!!
Don’t be afraid. Growing orchids is one of the most exciting, rewarding, and mental medicine one can have. But they are extremely challenging when you don’t know what to do. The best way is buying inexpensive starter orchids like Phalaeonopsis (moth orchid) or Dendrobiums. That’s how I started. I’ve killed so many orchids learning how to grow them. It’s okay. Some of the greatest growers out there will tell you that the only way to learn orchid care is just trying it and learn from your discoveries when they die off. Don’t ever let that disappoint you. We all go through it. 💚
It is an explosion of flowers and colors, I moved and the leaves of some of mine burned, it gave me pain, but little by little I took hold of it and your garden is a paradise❤
I love all of your orchids in bloom I wish I had the environment for vandas❤. I am getting some orchids hopefully soon. My order has been made 😊 ❤️ your schombercia
I am so happy that you took a break to recharge yourself - its so easy to get sucked into the hamster wheel of content creation! Pls take care - greetings from Singapore
Great episode! WOW your collection has really grown - in numbers and in beauty! Have to say I love the long videos when there is so much to see. I've been recommending you on social media.
Awe! Thank you so much Linda. I’m very touched by your comment. Sometimes I feel my videos can be too long and I put doubts in my mind. Viewers like you is the reason I love doing this. 💚🙏🏼💚🙏🏼
Absolutely a wonder collection. Your orchids are stunning. Today was unbelievably awesome with all the blooms. Nelson it’s ok to take a break, I certainly appreciate all the time , info, education, & effort put into these video’s. Congratulations on the 100,000 views. Don’t feel bad about saying about how you watch with the adds. I do the same. Always watch multiple times anyhow going back for the info or names of plants to purchase. Much love.
As I began to read this I started feeling sad. But I’m so happy to hear my videos have reignited the love for orchids. I quit so many times throughout my life collecting plants. But I realized that my failures were actually my lessons. I appreciate all those times I lost an orchid because I became a little bit more knowledgeable on what not to do. Don’t let your failures dictated your path in nature. Use it as a tool to grow better orchids and plants. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼🤗💚
@@naturenel Thank you very much for this educational response. When you reply to such a long comment, I 'm very happy because my idol knows that I exist and also gives me a reply that encourages me.❤ I'll do as you say.💕
Beautiful! I haven't that much space left so do you think I can keep them all cluttered together? Coz that's what I have to do or stop buying orchids, which is a no-brainer!😁
Hello Nelson, Wow, beautiful blooms, thanks. I found your channel about 2 months ago and I've been going back and watching some of your older video. I live in West Virginia a/nd have 32 orchids in my dinning/craft room in an East facing window. Mostly Cattleya hybrids from SVO and several divisions from another local orchid grower. I've been a gardener since I was 12 and only got into orchids after visiting Hawaii in 2015 and saw Dendrobiums growing in a tree. Did you ever update the Japanese Lantern plant you received 6 months ago? P,S, one of my gifts from Darrell who gave me the divisions was a Procatavola Key Lime Stars on a mount. It's currently in bloom in my window with LED lights.
Hi Jean! Thank you so much for joining the train. We vibe our tribe. The plant and orchid community is so fabulous. SVO has amazing quality orchids. Their Cattleyas are gorgeous. I’m due to visit Hawaii. I’ve had it in my bucket list for ages. I have to trim my Japanese Lantern. It’s gotten too lengthy. I may root the cuttings.
Hello Nelson. I just found your channel. I’m so envious of your orchids. So beautiful! I have one large oncidium orchid that doesn’t want to spike. Any tips to share?
Actually I have an entire chandelier of Rhynchostylis. Check out my shorts videos. I have a video on that piece. I keep them on a terracotta cone mounted. I water everyday and keep it in very bright lit area.
@@naturenel thank you Nelson I have one in a cone but I don’t see any new roots and the ones it have looks like they’re going to dry the leaves looks wrinkled, what can I do
@@teresagonzalez2022 try watering it for 10 minutes straight and keep it in an area that it does not get allot of wind. I keep mine inside my workshop. The ceiling in there is clear. You can see it in the new what’s in bloom. Wrinkled leaves means dehydration most likely. It needs a good quench. Don’t feed yet. You want to make sure your orchid is fully hydrated before feeding.
Physan 20 is a good preventative. I have not been using it ever since I started using Banrot. It’s a systemic so there is no need of weekly or biweekly spraying. I now only spray monthly. But if you’re not using Banrot or any systemic fungicide, than Physan is a good idea. 👍🏼
Definitely no lack of calcium. I feed plenty of Cal-Mag plus our well water is high in calcium. Our water is straight from the Everglades. We drilled for well water. According to the tests they ran after running it through a 4 process system. As told to us by the water company, our water is better than even bottled water.
@@naturenel i believe you, i watched interview from Doc Block (very famous aroid breeder) also live in Miami. He also stated that Miami has very good water, i think it is best water tasting in US. I used to owned a lot orchids but gave all away due to moved for work. Now i recollect and relearn again. So far i remember Sulfur, Calcium, Magnesium has very important rule on build structure for plant that help move the water all around the plant specially the tip of the leaf. But i think it is also iron can cause that or something. Been so many years, i need to look back the books. Most synthetic fertilizer doesn’t carry calcium, that’s why we need Cal-Mag. Only fertilizer carry calcium is organic such as fish fertilizer carry good amount calcium, but they are stink :) 🫢
Thank you for taking the time to give us the detailed view with time and patience. The long videos are not only filled with beauty but also provide a sense of calm and connection with nature that soothes the spirit. 😊
Thank you Melissa. I started doing the longer videos because you guys kept requesting it. Most of you appreciate it better than the short videos. Ever since I began extending the episodes, my viewership has risen substantially. It’s more work for me but I don’t mind making them knowing how much most of you enjoy it. Thank you so much for your great support. 💚🙏🏼🤗
