this is one of the best ideas ever to come from marvel. the animation is amazing, the storytelling is deeper & fresh. I have never loved a show as much as the original x-men in the 90s so to see characters i've loved all of my life finally getting their flowers properly, what a time to be alive. nightcrawler (kurt) supremacy like episode 8 is phenomenal!!

Gambits power is that he converts the potential energy of an object into kinetic energy. The bigger the object, the bigger the boom. Its why he generally uses small objects like cards.

Also a legit good introduction and collection of x-men history is 'X-Men Grand Design'. its most of the fire X-Fam stuff from the start to the 90s, the good shit.

Storm is not just a mutant, but she’s a Goddess so a device dampening mutant powers will not affect her powers as a Goddess. That’s what she realized!

@@GeoJohnnTVS In the comics her African tribe worshiped her as a Goddess. When Fox Studios had the rights to Marvel characters, they belittled Storm. They never allowed her to be Omega, or God like which she has always been in the comics. In my opinion that had a lot to do with her being Black. In that particular time they only really had one Black superhero per team & they did not want that superhero to outshine Jean Gray, Wolverine or Professor X. Now that Marvel has the rights to their own characters they clearly are making Storm the comic book version of herself. In Greek mythology worshipping God’s make them stronger. What I’m saying is how much of Storm’s powers are mutant related & Goddess related is unknown. Did her mutant gene allow her to evolve into a goddess🤷🏾‍♂️, I don’t know but her tribe worshipped her which is how God’s become stronger. Maybe one of Storm‘s parents was a God. Supposedly her parents died when she was one years old, but that could be just what they told her. That’s the only thing that makes sense that she’s able to overcome the power dampening devices that affect all other mutants to include Magneto. Lastly, in a recent comic Storm actually defeated Thor easily. Thor is half God, that says a lot!
