Ben white is captain material. Why? Because unlike odegaard, he’s not jumping on dumb international duty games And getting injured and killing the entire teams chance at a trophy.
Is it easier to believe that complete nonsense than just accept the reality that you gave away a two goal lead at home again? The refs don't owe Arsenal good decisions.
Would of been light work for Arsenal without the injuries, Arsenal finished with a back four of Partey, Kiwior,White and Lewis Skelly you managed to scrape a draw.
We have beaten you well even with those players you mentioned. They have only managed to get 2 points out of 12 in the last 2 seasons. The minute timber left, the defence became weaker. Pound 4 pound, the game would have been over in the first half. It’s so obvious Arsenal is far far ahead of Liverpool!
I'm an Arsenal fan but this one was no way on the referee - we scored and then sat back way too deep. It felt like watching England at the Euros. We should have gotten the ball down and kept playing on the front foot instead of inviting pressure.
Liverpool missed Jota and the worlds best keeper. Tired after playing away in europe on wednesday while Arsenal had an home game on tuesday. Thats effectively two days more rest. Good point for Liverpool on an off day.
Remember them at Anfield last year they got eaten, playing basketball in their own box, Trent missed a one on one but it was “we were great, great point” when Liverpool do it under these circumstances “they’re woeful” 🤣 saltyyyyyy
miraculous liverpool were bailed out by the refs at every turn while their defense were crumbling at the end. but i'm honestly not even that frustrated since there's no real prize for any team other than city. both teams are dead to rights against city's control of the pgmol (which in this case conspired to push for a draw that would help city tremendously) sadly
Why you keep saying b team your at full strength bar saliba and odegaard your at home you was at home Tuesday Liverpool away in Germany didint arrive back until Thursday one training session then into a hotel in London talk sense man
Looks like Lee had too many pints at half time. Your team sat back for most of second half and your keeper started wasting time in the 65th minute... shameless fc
Lee's comments on the officiating are spot on. The anti Arsenal bias when we're playing at home is obvious and premiership refs are absolutely unfit for purpose.
Eversince Arteta called the PGMOL a disgrace Arsenal has been on the wrong end of ref's decision . VVD should have seen red for the violent foul on Havertz earlier in the first half.
Nah bruh it was before that as well. Don't you remember the "forgot to draw the lines" against Brentford? Or the "we as PGMOL apologize because Martinelli's goal against Man U shouldn't have been overturned"?
Every decision when "our way" what are you waffling about? Diaz fouled Partey 3 times the ref gave all 3 and the 3rd one you scored from it. Gabriel dives near the touchline he gave a foul by Nunez.
I don't understand what all these English fans are saying but Mikel Arteta killed the game because the team became too defensive which cost us the game not the ref. I knew before the goal they were going to score us, we were defending with enough time to go, why not make the changes on time, boost up the game. Remove Martinell and Saka at 72 minutes we would have won the game.
Wow. I normally respect this guy. Our reserve keeper wasn’t tested either. We had Ali and Jota out. You had 2 out. Never seen this bitterness from Lee before. Quite shocking. But shows how much a Liverpool team playing awful and getting a result has hit him.
Constantly blaming the refs, if this team was that good we wouldn’t need to blame the refs because wiping teams out would give the refs no possible way of denying us 3 points
No, the equivalent would be VVD out (albeit through a suspension), Gomez out and Tsimikas out with Robertson back for the first game in a while. Then at 54 minutes Konate goes off with an injury and then at 74 Robertson goes off with an injury. Are you saying that's the same kind of crisis that you had today? 5/6 of your best back line injured by the end of the game?
If you have Konate, VVD, Robertson, Gomez and Tsimikas out for 30 minutes, with VVD, Gomez and Tsimikas out from the start then it'd be a similar thing. Your second choices were available. At the end, we were down to our 5th choice CB and 4th choice RB. Saying it's the same is obtuse.
I’m fed up of a manager who goes defensive as soon as we take a lead. I’m also fed up of seeing Martinelli actively avoiding Konate at any brush of contact. I’ve never seen a player actively run away from a specific player. They scored the second goal because of that
we should not be getting done with one pass from trent and open where nunez and salah had that whole final 3rd to themselves. No matter how good the pass was. You’ll get punished by quailty players when this madness happens
I know it’s football fans, but don’t forget the ref gave a foul when Gravenberch kicked the ball on Trossards face! Also, a ridiculous foul for Arsenal’s 2nd goal!
realistically both clubs are on the absolute rotten end of the pgmol. arsenal for being otherwise contenders and arteta calling them out, and liverpool for being perennial contenders. but in terms of actually stealing the title away from pgmol? the teams might as well be spurs. both sides have seen that the closer you get, the more aggressive the bias becomes. sad state of affairs.
To all Arsenal fans in the UK, you now need to demonstrate. Please go to streets because these referees are ruining our premier league season. They have conspired to make sure we don't win the premier league guys.
did ANYONE see a foul by Kiwior? I mean when he was defending he was ball watching that floater and it was a disaster.... a bystander... but the disallowed goal should stand because he won the header thanks to his jump, with no hands... Why didn't VAR intervene?? Kiwior won that ball cleanly. We must channel this anger to help us find more dominant form.... This is a disgrace.
Kellegher wasnt busy either! Liverpool had, Bradley, Allison, Jota, Elliot missing, we have a smaller sqaud and would love to have spent over £300m over 2 years! Next up you come to Anfield!
How is noone talking about Van Dijks backward horsekicks on Haverts early in the game, and how that was not a red or at least a yellow. Off the ball, aggressively kicking out, twice! like wtf
Lee saying Arsenal basically had reserves out today 🤣 Arsenal started game with 2 first team players out (Odegard & Saliba). LFC had no Alisson or Jota. Exact same amount of best XI out 🤣
Arsenal fans are ridiculous. You had your fun in the first half, Liverpool did the same in the second. You had 2-3 players missing, Liverpool had 2-3 players missing. 2:2 a very deserved point for both sides.
Ffs I keep seeing this nonsense, we had Saliba Calafiori and Odegaard out, that’s our best defender and our captain, Liverpool had injuries to outfield players who don’t even start. We also got two injuries in the game
Liverpool had no Alisson, no Jota who is the starting striker and left Szoboszlai on the bench. Arsenal played at home and in the second half the time wasting and the dark arts started with less than an hour played. Next time, less bitching, less rolling around, less keeping the ball in the corners and maybe you get 3 points. Claiming you deserved anything more than 1 point from this game is ridiculous when you offered absolutely nothing in the second half.
@@ChrisTtofarithey had the best GK in the league out, their no.1 striker out. They played in Europe one day after and had to travel back before travelling down to London. Both teams can make valid excuses today.
VVD kicked out at Havertz twice off the ball. Nothing given. Should have at least been a yellow. If that was Xhaka or Rice would have been straight red.
They played our depleted backline, a 17yr old LB who’s played a total of 12mins in the prem before he came on. We had two in game injures, a Saka who’s missed a week of training and still needed the refs to scrape a 2-2 lmao
The amount of embarrassment you can feel watching this. Liverpool had their first choice goalkeeper and forward out. Talking about, 'playing our reserves
I have unsubscribed from aftv after this last post, everyone just chats rubbish. You got someone talking about liverpool couldnt beat our B team, should of won the game and now this. I like Lee but this just extends the excuses. As a Arsenal fan cant be bothered to listen to this.
Arteta should have subbed the wide players earlier in second half The energy visibly dipped. Saka just came back was running out of juice. Sitting back was a slow train wreck waiting to happen.
Regarding the game, I think both Arsenal and Liverpool played really well. Unfortunately, Arsenal couldn’t capitalise on most of their chances, but a 2-2 draw is still a decent result against a strong team like Liverpool. If this match had been played with Arsenal’s full strength squad, it could have been a different story, and I believe Arsenal would have come out ahead. The bigger concern for Arsenal now is the recurring injuries. We need to ask why so many players are getting sidelined. This trend is going to hurt us significantly if the club can’t figure out how to reduce the frequency of injuries. Yes, injuries are part of the game, but it’s becoming too frequent and predictable with Arsenal, and that needs to change. Are we bringing in too many injury-prone players that other clubs avoid? If so, it needs to stop so the team can return to peak performance. The next match is going to be challenging, but as always, I wish Arsenal, my beloved team, all the very best.
No issue with the performance of the team tonight. However, it’s abundantly clear the laws of the game are NOT being applied fairly and evenly. Again balls being kicked away, possible penalty claim, a foul in the build up to the ‘3rd goal’ which didn’t exist. The utter desperation of the PGMOL to find a way to disallow the Merino goal, minutes went by as their corrupt bought officials looked for excuses to rule the goal out.
Raya = 2 saves. Kelleher = 1 save. Liverpool = 4 shots on target. Arsenal = 3 shots on target. Liverpool 55 percent posession. Arsenal fans = 100 percent delusions.
Oh I guess I must be wrong. Kelleher really had to make more saves than Raya. Arsenal really did have more of the ball. Trust the process ladies, you're going to win F ALL.
Liverpool fan here , I am gonna give my honest opinion of what I think of Arsenal. Arsenal is about 4-5 players from winning the league right now. The Arsenal players are still growing, and if they stick together for another 2-3 years , then maybe they might win the league .
I know I won’t be believed (which is fair) but I was already prepared to comment on how bad that ref was today when we were winning and would have if we won the game.
They are right. Watched RM vs Barcelona and there were so many offsides which were dealt with so quickly. Don’t understand why the PL still insists to use the old system for offsides. Doesn’t make sense
Am surprised at some of the negativity in the comments. Arsenal was supposed to get beat people L.O.L, we been POOR this season, a mixture of injuries and stupid mistakes. But we dug deep here today with our thin squad, TAKE THE POINT. We could have been 7 points off top spot, it's now 5, take the point and move ON . Actually to be performing this bad and stay in touch with the leaders is fair enough.
