Your videos are so fun to watch, I smile or laugh thru them and get lots of ideas. What does your husband think of your before closet? Mine would just shake his head. He would Probably say how much fall stuff does 1 person need🧡

Susan those mustard baskets are awesome! Those bright yellow enamel pans can go outside for summer? Love those wooden sunflowers! I found a wood one with just the flower and I looked for the perfect stick in my woods and attached it to the flower and hung it outside on my garage, looks cute for fall. Love owls!! Love those turkey s/p!! I don’t decorate much for Halloween. Not like I use to when my son was younger. I’m definitely more basic fall and like you muted tones is what I prefer. That other wreath you’re not sure of you could strip down the dried part looked awesome. Soooo love that turkey tureen! Wow susan! Nice job with your closet! Oh my gosh you crack me up😂 I am in an apartment, and so I cannot have all of the things that you have. But I have a lot. And I get how you feel about the bright orange and gold and yellow. I want a more muted primitive kind of the core this year it really is a struggle because I do love the orange pumpkins and things . But I'm not going for it. I really want to stay with the primitive. I'm going to stay watching because you make me laugh, and you remind me of me.
You do have alot . And it's a good ideal to put some in your booth . I'm going to part with some of mine . I would like to hold things down this year it's bso much work . Just can't do like I use to do putting out so much . And it's hard down sizeing.i do love fall color and have it all over the house. I'm going to try my best to keep it a minimum. I love that quilt hanging in that room. It is beautiful. Yes. You did have quite a collection of Fall but you got rid of a lot. I still like signs and will continue to use them. Susan you could have made you some covers for all those pillows. Hope you sale it all. 😊
I brought 12 big bins upstairs from my basement. Took me four days to get it all placed because I had to pack other items away. My hubby just shook his head. Only difference in my house and your house is my mess was only in my dining room and one bedroom.
👋🏻 Wow same thought! Yesterday I found a wicker pumpkin, a wooden one and a straw like one at Goodwill. Also a bundle of subdued stems. Oh, a Firken replica that I 1st thought was genuine . Looks do good I bought it. Feel the same about xmas decorating in that I don't have the energy to store tons of things to make room for xmas decor. I'll be adding pops where I can.
Great job! I am also trying to find a way to just decorate for the seasons, around the things that I like to keep out all of the time. And I’m getting older, so it’s getting to be a bit too much.
I used to have that much until a few years ago. During COVID for a year and a half I went through all of my fall and Christmas totes and decorations. I kept only my primitive things that I loved, naturals like pumpkins, gourds, etc. and so glad you did this video as I need some inspiration to fall clean and work on mine too. I love signs inside and out so those were keepers and keep adding more 😂. Love your signs, perfect inside and out. I used to have the “cutesy stuff “ when my grandkids are little, time to let others enjoy those so out they went
What’s wonderful about fall decor is that it can be enjoyed September, October, and November! The cooler temperatures allow us to decorate with abandon! Having a “stash” means no need to shop too! How nice, Susan, that you have a booth the your “no longer wanted” decor can both decorate your booth as well as be sold! I admire you for making the hard choices to let go. It’s a problem I have! Now that's a lot of Fall decor! It's like having a store inside your home😃 That's me w Xmas decor even though I've tried my darndest to downsize. Some things are just too sentimental to part ways. I know how hard it is to sort your stuff and try to weed out your treasures!😁. I am downsizing our home and really trying to keep to the primitive look. We who are creative people like everything literally and think that if we don't just love it that we can transform it -- however, there is just not enough time in the day to get it all done! See, I know!😅😄😊😕❤
Susan, you have enough fall decor to decorate a couple of more booths. My husband thinks I have too much fall decor with only one bin. Sometimes the hubby just doesn’t get it. Lol

I think I have the same turkey salt and pepper. I dread getting seasonal stuff out but once I start decorating I'm in heaven. I'm still not sure I did the right thing giving my Halloween ornaments to our church basement sale. I kept the primitive though. Can't wait to see how you use everything.
Hey sweet friend 😊 I couldn’t help but laugh when you open the closet 😂 cause honey I’ve got the same issue 😂 it’s really bad my daughter was laughing yesterday we were organizing her seasonal decore she said we’ve got a problem 😂 we’ve both parted w/a lot & I’ll be doing the same I’m only keeping what I truly love if it’s not primitive I don’t want it but I’ll tell you I’m gonna try & spray paint my leave garland a muted color it looks like real crunchy leaves so we’ll see 😊 yes I use the tops of corn husk too I love it & that wreath you’ve got is so pretty 😊 I can’t wait to see what you come up w/ this yr & I’m sure you’ll sale everything you put in your booth , I’m gonna deep clean & take down summer inside but I’ll do a video 1st then take it down & I’ll leave it up outside til 3rd wk in Aug then go fall 😊 have a Blessed wk honey 😊
*How FUN was this video, Susan‼️ I grew up like this; my Mom has ALWAYS had SKADS (Minnesotan for LOTS‼️🤣) of holiday decor for EVERY SEASON, so your closet is "NORMAL" to me.😉🍁🌻🍂 You did a FABULOUS JOB of paring down your Fall decor; AND you will undoubtedly make LOTS OF MONEY 💰 on the items you chose to sell in your booth, so it's a WIN-WIN all around❣️🥰🧡🌻🍂 The wreath you made from the top parts of corn stalks with their tassels is gorgeous, creative and very understated. I am impressed. I also decorate with a variety of species of multi-colored ears of 🌽🌽🌽 corn on the cob with their husks. They look fantastic coming out of a cornucopia, a basket, a croc or arranged down the middle of a dining room table, like a runner❣️🥰🤎 I hope you will show us pictures or a video of your booth with the Fall decor you are offering for sale. 🤑🤪😉 I am also looking forward to seeing the retained Fall decor in your home in September.🍁🌾🌻🍂🌼*

I just moved from a 6 room house to a small 1 bedroom apartment for 55+..I donated most of my decorations to a local thrift store. I'm getting older and decided I don't need all the decorations. 😣
