@@mnonodzilala8508i dont think you know how debt works. that debt has no impact on wages. if anything, it would only raise wages due to inflation caused from the factors causing a rising national debt. also, about 18% of jobs pay over 100k annually and 34% of american households earn more than 100k per year. definitely an affordable car for the majority of financially literate people.
The dash camera system should be standard in all luxury cars. It’s easily accessible and provides confidence in accidents. You have 4 angles of proof to provide insurance companies.
@@ayyeclipse6204 I would say sudden fast acceleration is more dangerous in 95% of cases. Just parking on the side of the road, and you accidently press the throtle to much, doing a jump 0-60 in 2-3secs and hitting pedastrians
My family recently went to florida. When we were in the parking lot of our hotel smoking, leaning up against our rental, we heard a weird noise. 30 seconds or so later, we hear it again, & this time we could clearly tell it was a fart noise. We clarified that none of us were farting, but it kept happening, we thought maybe something in the rental was wigging out & got a little nervous. It was only after a couple minutes of confusion that i saw the tesla parked next to us had "SENTRY MODE" on the touchscreen & realized what was going on, we had a good laugh about that

@@a-don13 they're going to try to ban gasoline but its not going to work since so many people rely on gasoline cars. Plus synthetic gasoline is carbon neutral so that could extend the life of gas cars
I must say i didnt believe in the Tesla hype until someone let me drive theirs. I rolled up to the first stop sign and the owner looks at me and says "hit it". I looked back at him and asked are you sure? He said "positive". Yooo it took about 3 seconds to realize ive never in my life experienced this type of acceleration. 2 homes past the stop sign your already having to back off so you dont blow through the next stop sign. We repeated the same process for the next 5 stop signs lol. My neighbor had a 900hp Viper that didnt feel close to the same acceleration but its possible thats bc I wasn't driving. Moral of the story..dont knock it until you rock it. 😉
Because the car weighs 6k lbs, start telling people how much power it makes and they're gonna want to take it to the track. Not a good idea with something that heavy. Also not really safe for the teenagers in their Honda Civic first cars just tryna get to work meanwhile Sharon here thinks she's a racer with this over powered, over weight, and under safety concerned electric tank. I believe that cars with over 450 HP should be sold like a racecar with less assistance because people end up relying on the assistance and don't understand how a car of that power level and weight actually handles when the assistance can't do anything for you anymore. Like say in a total traction loss slide, plus then the cars going to try and correct itself while you're trying to correct it and it's gonna make everything worse. Which leads to crashes, sure not having the assistance will lead to crashes but that's just a sign that you need to drive better or drive slower cars.

I don’t know your needs, but I’ve driven my S long range from Sea-SD- FL three times and was glad to get out and stretch and other things to charge. Superchargers are plentiful and working. Look for new Superchargers all the time and enjoy a little variety . Not for everyone like some bladder busters.
Best everyday car , I keep telling people . “But who wants to charge for an hour, gas takes 5 minutes” You can go to the charger for 5 minutes just like you can put 5$ on pump 2 or you can fill it up . You end up at so many cool places or areas to charge . It’s amazing

@@crambo000 Sure. It’s nice being able to stop in almost any town and get fuel (that and range is not a concern). It does get expensive though, which is why I hope either A: prices drop again, B: we switch to something like hydrogen (EVs have their place, but aren’t the sole solution), or C: both.

What car guys don't really get is, is a Tesla is probably the best daily car.. Yes it won't corner like a Porsche but that's not what it was made for and that is perfectly okay..
A car guy daily is also usually different from a normal daily driver as well. Us car guys like cars that are interesting and engaging, but can also get us from point A to point B. Most modern cars including Teslas are just fine for A to B, but they lack engagement.

You can't really enjoy your car anyway..
Tire wear might be the only “drawback” for the S Plaid. 20-40k miles for conservative driving habits, but with 1000hp you know most drivers can’t resist the temptation 😂 Some owners will burn through that first set within 12 months 😮

One thing you forgot Forrest, it can drive itself! Super efficient review as always Forrest! 300k miles in the model 3 with 0 maintenance! My saab is my weekend car but the tesla as a daily is unparalleled value. Especially now that used teslas are so cheap.
@futuristic_car_channelI’ve had small things, but nothing that affected the driving of the car. Just tires. I get the Lexanis (both summer and all season) from Amazon for my 18” wheels and they’re only 80$ a pop! If you care to know I’ve also seen about 20% degradation. Original range was just over 300. Now I’m around 240. But more than enough for daily driving. My 0-60 is still in the mid 3’s too!
It's telling when it's only competitors are the Lucid Air Sapphire at $249k and the Taycan Turbo GT at $230k - and neither of those can drive themselves.
@@ARCNA442the self driving keeps crashing. And the base model lucid air is like 75k, it's slower yes, but it's got more range and is more comfortable imo which makes it a better daily.
For the price for performance, Tesla cant be beat, stock. Thats why I got one. I personally don't care about the saving the planet crap. Just want to be able to teleport on the road

I’m glad you enjoy your model 3, but please don’t refer to it as an M3, that term is strictly reserved for BMW. Yes, the BMW that is polluting the planet faster and is slower in a drag race.
Seeing as you refered to Model 3 as M3 shows that you are not a „car person”, which also explains why you prefer EVs. EVs are a perfect vehicle for people who treat cars as a method of transportation. Nobody denies that. The problem is with how they sell them as more sustainable and eco solution. Which they definitely aren’t for now.
I don’t care about the ICE vs EVERYONE debate, but the Model S feels considerably cheaper inside than even an E Class or 5 series, and it’s supposed to compete with and S Class at the higher end.
It’s all great until you break down in the middle of nowhere. Or until you’ve spent more on tyres than on the car. Or you realise there is no second hand market and you can’t sell it.
@@SilverSeeker Yes it is? 1) Most countries including my own do not have the infrastructure for EVs. You have to go longer distances on one charge, which becomes increasingly problematic as the battery gets older. Ergo, you break down more often. 2) Since EVs are substantially heavier than normal cars they would wear through normal tyres in a blink. This means you have to buy heavier, more expensive EV tyres which cost more upfront, and make the car heavier again. 3) EVs can lose up to half their value in three years. Considering people keep their cars for about double that on average, you do the maths there, buddy. There’s a reason companies can’t give away these vehicles. I’m sure the boot space is plentiful, but frankly that’s not enough.

Come to Canada, minus 30 degrees these things lose 30 to 40 percent power overnight. Lack of ground clearance for snow. Ill stick to my unique Honda Element with lots of interior space including all seats reclining fully flat to make a camper bed. Store bicycles standing up. Breaks more necks at car meets too.
