I follow you because you’re encouraging and most importantly , a woman of God. I don’t follow you for makeup tips because I understand your content isn’t about Makeup application so when I see you applying makeup, it doesn’t bother me, I just look at the way you’re applying it and I keep it going. As someone said in the comments before me, everyone isn’t a hater because they think your makeup isn’t blended or doesn’t match your skin tone. This is social media- they are going to speak their minds because it’s here for the world to see. And honestly, some people are commenting because of the algorithm and you popped up on their feed. I don’t think the majority of your true followers are concerned about your makeup. We look past that. We are here for your wholesomeness and your love for God.

If you need to block people, so be it. More people love you than not. There is constructive criticism, and there is just criticism. People don't have to comment on every single thing that they don't agree with. They just need to keep it in their mind. You are going to have trolls...pray for them, then block them. If a content creator makes a video with a specific topic (like: a makeup get ready with me) and people share their opinions about the outcome (not liking the look) "unsubscribe, and don't watch me" is kinda a harsh response as well. Some of these comments are extremely terrible! We agree on that, but not every comment that states "I dont like it" deserves a response like "you're a hater, if you dont have anything positive to say...," and/or "block and unsubscribe from me". If your boss at work says this could be better, will you automatically say " Well, fire me then?" Probably not... lol I like watching your content but it's unrealisic to expect people to only compliment you, even the ones that like you.Just my thoughts.

I have ALWAYS been a supporter and have left theeeee sweetest and encouraging comments...I admire her and she is my Sister in Christ...I called her out on a couple of observations and she went into a full rant on one of her lunch breaks about me....she did not read to yall verbatim what I said or even what I responded to her rebuttal (it was so kind)....my comment was not hateful at all....I love her platform, I celebrate her, the whole nine...she went on a rant and called me a TROLL...at least read ALL of what was said if you're gonna rant and call me out my name....she blew that thing way out of context and what I was trying to convey from my heart...when people care they say something ...and I didn't say anything that Micah hasn't already said to her on the vlog before...has she not read ALL of my other comments on her vlogs and shorts? No one else has a RU-vid name like mine so I know she has...An observation is not hate or trolling....constructive criticism is not negativity, hatred or trolling...I have nothing but love for her, will continue to view her content and support her, but oh well🤷🏽‍♀️....note to self 👉only give compliments....I HATE that she took my words as trolling, I really do...I'm a full on subscriber and never miss a vlog...I want to see her win in every way...and from now on 🤐 ...if I see something I'll just pray...can't nobody say nothing about that 🤗

@Incolere It's called filtering . As Adrienne mentioned, it's a tendency that most people (including me) have to hyperfocus on the negative instead of the whole. Even constructive comments begin appearing negative if you ruminate on them too long. It's especially hard for people who naturally see the cup half empty than full. I'm not a naturally happy sunshine person so I have to be careful to not take offense when it's not intended to be offensive. Or be insensitive myself.

Hey ... I definitely understand where you are coming from. I don't comment on nobody's video to tell them what they should and shouldn't do on their platform. Because if it bothers me that much I will not watch . None of us are perfect and none of us walk straight lines . I wish people can just enjoy other peoples happiness. you know I am not the make up girl however I love to see you put on your make up. It’s just something about it. It’s a RU-vid influencer who said she never was uncomfortable about her acne until people on here started commenting and being negative about it. Hi Misty, as I stated in the video I KNOW IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY, I also said I can set boundaries. Just because I put myself on the internet doesn’t mean I’m putting myself on a chopping block. What happened to uplifting woman? Being a girls girl? I don’t care how I feel about someone I’d never comment on their post anything negative, nor tell them to “get over it you better get thick skin” smh…. I don’t always expect compliments some days it doesn’t bother me and some days it don’t! I said in the video that the good outweigh the bad! Was having a vulnerable moment and expected my community to UNDERSTAND not leave comments like yours. SMH
