The work on the Rock Ranch is underway! And the Rock Ranch Rehab series will follow along the way sharing the journey with y'all.
In this episode, I get to work on cleaning up the pink bathroom. First order of business was to remove the DECADES old anti-slip stickers from the tub because they were GROSS. Watch to see how I go did it!

Oh My Gosh!!! These are the EXACT decals that are on my tub, only mine are light blue! Going to give this a shot since the hairdryer doesn't seem to be working for me. Thanks!!!

Goof off will remove your paint and could melt fiberglass. She's using that product on a cast iron tub with a porcelain coating. It's not paint or plastic. It's important to test a small area to make sure it won't ruin the surface.

So I just did this with the exact same stickers, easiest method is definitely using a hair dryer to heat them up.

Thank you for the video! Did you find that the goof off effected the enamel/finish on your tub at all?

I didn’t experience any damage to the enamel of the tub. It actually helped get off some other residues in the tub too. I know you asked this a while ago (sorry about that), but if you could do a test patch I would highly recommend. Like spray the product on somewhere not too noticeable and see if it hurts your finish at all. Good luck!

People can really make some totally DUMB decisions that can make hell for somebody else. I am just looking at the work she has to expend getting that mess off the tub that could have been easily prevented by not putting those dumb things on the tub in the first place!!!

Oh man I feel that sentiment sometimes! Wait until you see where I have to scrap paint off the pink tile because a previous owner didn’t cut in or mask off it off and got paint all over it. 🥲🥲
